Flaxpits House is designed to meet the needs of nine younger people with learning disabilities. The refurbished bungalow, in Winterbourne, is wheelchair accessible and has spacious gardens, a large dining room/games room, lounge, accessible kitchen, nine bedrooms (four with ensuite bathrooms) and four additional bathrooms/toilets, including wet room. There is also a two bed flat, for residents working towards greater independence.
Staff at the home are dedicated to person-centred care, can cater for a variety of needs and are experienced in caring for people with learning disabilities.
