She improved enormously during the five months that she was a resident there, where she received care and encouragement from the physio team, occupational therapist
Admin made sure that our friend's husband was cared for too when he was visiting. The new lady took over as manager during 'our' time there, and made a significant difference. She was also a great sounding board when we were looking at the way forward, or had any specific worries. She was a star!
Our friend has moved to a home which is more convenient for her husband to visit, but we were all sad to leave Russell Court behind!
I have given four stars rather than five, as the fabric of the building needs some attention, and the rooms are not very generous in size.

We have noted your feedback regarding shortcomings in additional services, regrettably, Podiatry is a service provided by the NHS and we are unable to influence their referral criteria or appointments. We take all feedback seriously and aim to continually improve the service therefore we will endeavour to continue to discuss all health concerns with the GP, and where necessary will request that referrals to services such as podiatry are made.
