Jim Gillespie House provides a home away from home, set in beautifully maintained gardens, where residents are encouraged to maintain relationships with family and friends, meet new people and participate in regular activities and outings.
The care home will support residents in maintaining their independence and making their own decisions about their life.
Jim Gillespie House was purpose built in 1977 with money donated by an anonymous benefactor. It is a two-floor, detached property set in well maintained gardens.
The care home provides residential care and is registered for older people aged 65 years and over. It provides care for those who may experience hearing or visual impairment or need assistance with personal care and / or mobility.
On the ground floor, there are single rooms, including en suite rooms. On the upper floor there are a further premium en suite rooms. Residents are welcome to bring your own furniture for a real home from home ambience.
