Reviews

10 Rosedale Care Home Ltd has a Review Score of 10 (9.983)

The Review Score of 10 (maximum of 10) for Rosedale Care Home Ltd is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  • a) The Average Rating is 5 out of 5 from 5 Reviews over all time. This Average Rating is also the rating value for Rosedale Care Home Ltd in Google's Search Results - more info

  • b) The score for the number of positive Reviews is 5 out of 5 from 5 positive Reviews in the last 12 months.

  • a) 5 Points are available for the Average Rating of all Reviews over all time. For each review the Care Home / service is rated Excellent, Good, Satisfactory, Poor or Very Poor on a number of areas eg Staff, Management etc. The Care Home receives points for each rating as follows: Excellent = 5. Good = 4. Satisfactory = 3. Poor = 2. Very Poor = 1. These points are added up and then divided by the total number of completed ratings to generate the average rating.

    The Average Rating of 4.983 for Rosedale Care Home Ltd is calculated as follows: ( (57 Excellents x 5) + (1 Goods x 4) ) ÷ 58 Ratings = 4.983

  • b) 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 12 months. If there are no Positive Reviews in the last 12 months, then 2.5 points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 2 years. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with 'Extremely Likely' or 'Likely' in answer to the question 'How likely are you to recommend this Care Home to friends and family if they needed similar care or treatment?'

The 5 points available are broken down as follows:

    1. 4 points are available for the first 5 Positive Reviews, 3 points for the first Positive Review and then 0.25 Points for each of the next 4 Positive Reviews.

    2. 1 point is available for reaching a target number of Positive Reviews based on 20% of the number of registered maximum number of service users. If the target is partially reached then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Care Home with 50 registered maximum number of service users has a target of 10 Positive Reviews, if it has 10 or more Positive Reviews it will receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews will receive 0.7 points.

    3. If there are no Positive Reviews in the last 12 months, then 2.5 points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 2 years. The calculation is the same as above, except the points are divided by 2.

The 5 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for Rosedale Care Home Ltd is based on 5 positive Reviews in the last 12 months and is calculated as follows:

    1. 3 + 0.25 + 0.25 + 0.25 + 0.25 = 4

    2. Target of 2.2 positive Reviews (11 registered maximum number of service users ÷ 5). 5 Reviews ÷ 2.2 Target Reached = 1

  • When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.

I have lived at Rosedale Care Home for 7 years. I love it. I don't want to go anywhere else. It's the best place to live. I have lived at other homes in the past and they were horrible. I have my freedom at Rosedale and I am treated like a real person. I like it when we go out for the day we go to the garden centre, monkey forest, bird sanctuary, shopping and I was able to decorate my room how I wanted. I am happy here. Anyone who moves into Rosedale will be very lucky. The food is really nice and staff like to cook diferent things for us. It's great.

My brother is a client at Rosedale Care Home. He's always so happy when we see him, he has built a good relationship with the other clients and staff. My brother will often say how he misses his own house but he is happy here. We would never dream of uprooting him now. I wouldn't want him to go to any other home. We find it easy to talk to the staff and manager, and we are kept up to date with any health appointments or just a general update on how he is if we haven't managed to get to see him. In my opinion, the home is well lead and the staff are more than capable. Rosedale is always homely and people seem genuinely happy to see you visit. I think this home is 5 Star.

My uncle is a resident at Rosedale Care Home, I visit my Uncle on a regular basis and he always looks well looked after, Since my uncle moved into Rosedale, I have noticed he has put weight on (for the better) and looks a lot healthier now. My uncle always seems happy when I see him and I enjoy talking to the staff. Uncle will always say he has been on day trips with the staff and other clients. We are always kept up to date with his care needs and any appointments that he has attended. Rosedale definitely has a home from home feeling and is very family orientated. We would not dream of moving uncle to anywhere else, as long as he is happy, we are happy.

My sister is currently a client at Rosedale Care home, I have never had any problems with the care home and the staff are always very friendly and always ready to attend to the clients. Each time I have been to the care home the clients always seem to be happy and are having a laugh and a joke with staff and other people, I could not be happier with where my sister lives and I would defiantly recommend Rosedale care home to anyone who is looking for a home for their loved ones.

My brother in law currently lives at Rosedale and has done since opening, he has autism and has limited speech. The staff there are excellent and are highly trained to meet his needs. He always looks and seems happy when I have visited him, and although he will never get his full speech back, his communication improves. The home is very welcoming and is a homely warm environment. The staff are alway friendly and are easy to talk to. They also offer an excellent selection of enjoyable activities to suit all individuals needs. The home always has a delightful scent and is very clean and tidy. They also provide holidays aboard to Turkey which my brother in law loves. They also have a good communication practice and keep our family up to date with any health issues.
