Mum moved in between Christmas and New Year. A huge change after living in her own home. She couldn’t have been made any more welcome.
The care in Ruckland is second to none. Having worked in a senior post in the NHS I was more than aware of the need for good quality, safe care and wanted the best for mum. And we have it. Every single member of staff I speak to knows my mum, no having to check notes to see who I am enquiring about. Nothing is too much for any of the staff. So kind and caring.
The manager is straight onto any queries and concerns I have are dealt with immediately.
We have found, in my opinion, the best home in Lincoln.
Thank you for your lovely review and kind words about Ruckland Court Care Home and our team of staff. It is a pleasure to welcome your mum into our home and it is lovely to hear that you are happy with our care for your mum. Your kind words will be passed onto the team. Best regards,
My mum was in Ruckland just over a year. She was quite a complex case to start with but with dedication from staff and occupational therapy, Mum was moving again. Mum was so happy living in the home. She loved the staff and they showed her so much love and care nothing was too much trouble, they did up and beyond care for her and my entire family. In her last days, the care was outstanding for us all. Mum felt the love from everyone. I can't thank everyone enough.

We just wanted to say how good the staff are at Ruckland Court Care Home. Our Aunty came in for respite care and all the members of staff were so helpful and nothing was too much trouble for them. She is now a permanent resident and their excellent care has continued, making the transition from home to care home so much easier. We would recommend Ruckland Court to anyone wanting to go into care.

Ruckland Court Care Home staff are so welcoming and helpful with all aspects of their services. In any business to make it successful, you have to have wonderful people operating the business from top to bottom. All I have is praise for the caring approach Ruckland Court Care Home has. We couldn't have chosen a better care home in Lincoln. The residents are treated to plenty of entertainment and trips out. When my wife and I visit we always have a chat not only with the staff but with lots of other residents. A wonderful care home and if I could give more stars I would.

I was very apprehensive for mum to go into a residential home, but circumstances warranted it. However, now mum is in Ruckland Curt, my worries disappeared. The staff are so caring and mindful of each individual needs, from the kitchen staff, the laundry ladies, the hairdresser, management, and last but not least, the carers who feed, dress, wash, seeing to their personal needs. Nothing is any trouble for whatever the care is for each resident I have noticed. Well done, guys, and thank you.

The staff are really good, nothing is too much trouble for them to help the residents of Ruckland Court have a better quality of life. They are always pleased to help whilst giving the best care they can. When residents are low or struggling they take it in their stride.
Also very helpful to other family members as well who can often feel a lot of pressure in difficult circumstances.

I would like to thank everyone at Ruckland Court for the wonderful care that my mum has received. Mum took ill just before Covid began and stopped eating, drinking and became bedbound. During Covid, I have been able to keep in touch through regular video calls, I have watched her gain weight and she is back to her usual smiling self. I have even seen her out of bed, which I didn't think would ever happen again. Everyone at Ruckland is so friendly, helpful and can't do enough for Mum and us as a family. I can ring anytime, and they always let me know if anything is happening with Mum. She has been at Ruckland Court for 3 years now and I would like to thank everyone for the wonderful care and friendship that you give to her.

My mum stopped at this care home for two weeks respite, previously we had a bad experience with a different care home and I said I would never put my mum through that again so it was such a big decision when she went this time. I was so nervous when I took her but from the minute we arrived the staff made us feel instantly at ease. I visited my mum after she had been there a week and she looked so well and happy, I had not seen her like that in a long time. I truly cannot thank the staff enough for the amazing job they all do, you can see that they genuinely care and I would highly recommend this place to anyone.

About 4 weeks ago, our dear mum became very ill and our family feared we would lose her. However, the wonderful team at Ruckland Court, through their loving care, nurtured mum back to her usual self. From being bedridden, only taking minimal diet and fluids to now eating and drinking well and back to joining in with the amazing activities in the lounge area. Thank you so much to the amazing team at Ruckland Court!

Throughout the almost three years that my friend was a resident in Ruckland Court, we were always impressed by the standard of care, consideration and understanding shown by all staff of all levels towards both my friend and ourselves. Despite increasing levels of dementia, she was treated with courtesy and great attempts was made to care for her appropriately. Many thanks to all.

Very welcoming and friendly care home. My uncle has been in the home since last June and all the staff we have had contact with have always been, helpful, polite and respectful to us and my uncle. Information is readily available regarding what is happening in the home (especially since covid) such as visiting rules, how the residents are and the way the team are managing the virus. My uncle enjoys the meals and social interaction in the dining room and occasionally the lounge.

I am very impressed by the care provided by Ruckland Court. Throughout her residency, my mother was always treated with respect and professionalism. All the staff were so consistently friendly to both my mother and her friends and relatives alike. She had a very long and fulfilling life and Ruckland Court provided a wonderful environment for her final years. I cannot speak too highly of the care workers - a dreadfully undervalued profession in my opinion. My mother was so appreciative of her care and expressed this to all her family. We are so grateful to you all.
