Overall Experience

My experience of Preston Private from visiting my father who has been a resident for about a month, is all positive. All the staff are lovely, nothing is too much trouble. I am kept up to date with medical matters and any issues. Most importantly, dad is settling in well, after a shaky start, and this is all down to the care and attention he has received. He is treated with dignity and respect, and has improved physically since moving there.

Our mother was at the care home during the month of August. She received top class care during this period. All staff, from the management down to every level , were extremely helpful, caring , courteous and friendly. The room was comfortable and kept well in order and clean. Dining facilities and meals were absolutely fine. A special thanks to the team leader in the D'urton area who kept everything going like clockwork.

Thank you.

It would be difficult to imagine a more carrying group off staff. They have all been wonderful.
The home itself is well maintained and clean. The support team are great too - particularly the home handyman.

It would be hard to find a better care home. The staff are amazing, caring, compassionate and friendly. There is always time for a chat even when extremely busy. My dad has been looked after so well and time was taken when he just wanted to have someone to hold his hand. Even now at the end of dads life they have been so kind to me.
