It was a very difficult decision to put our Dad into a home. I went to see a couple as I heard various things about homes and I was not very impressed with the two I went to see. I rang The Glynn and the manager told me to come anytime any day and she would tell me about what they could offer. The first thing I noticed it did not have "that smell" during the meeting I was watching the staff and they were so naturally caring towards the residents and a wonderful rapport with them and each other. I was there for over 1h 40mins and it ticked all the boxes that would make us as a family know that our Dad was in a very caring and safe environment. My Dad and us the family have never looked back he loves the staff and enjoys been there. There is always something going off, music, bingo, cheese and wine nights, movie night with popcorn. We're very lucky to have our Dad in such a great place with the best staff ever. I could recomend The Glynn to anyone if you are lucky enough to get a place.
