My daughter had respite in December 2017. She thoroughly enjoyed her stay. She is looking forward to her next stay. She also attends 1 day a week daycare which she looks forward to every week. She enjoys the sensory room and arts and crafts. She enjoys the interaction with the care assistants and other
service users. I enjoy peace of mind knowing she's safe and happy.

My daughter is very relaxed and happy when I bring her here and is always clean and happy when we pick her up. She enjoys the singing and entertainment with the people living here. The staff greet her and make her visit very happy.

Lincolnshire House is one of only a few residential care homes to offer the added facility of a number of activities on a daily basis. (9.30-4.00). For this reason, I am prepared to visit/collect my daughter on a regular basis, despite living a 2hr car journey away. In recent months however the activities
outside of Lincolnshire House have reduced somewhat.

Lincolnshire House is an exceptional place, they provide superb care and support to every resident and their families. My daughter would not be the wonderful person she has become without the love and care she has had and still receives daily since living there since May 2013. I was unable to continue
caring due to quite a few problems and Lincolnshire House literally saved myself and my daughter. I look forward to my visits to my daughter as I am welcomed by everyone and also cared about.

Lincolnshire House is the gold standard of care providers. It begs the question why other providers can't aspire to this model. It is always evident that residents and staff alike feel safe, happy and supported. Residents are given the opportunity to have their views and ideas listened to. Staff are
approachable, proactive, caring and responsive. It is a beautiful environment.

I have just come home from a week of respite. I had had a brilliant week. It was like being in my own home. The care is brilliant. I am looking forward to going back in March for another week.

I attend one day a week where I am well looked after by a carer who attends to my needs as I am in a wheelchair and have minor head injuries. I join in some of the activities which are varied and enjoy taking part. I am well looked after.

I came nearly 2 years ago and have found it to be the very best care home I've ever been in. Staff are very helpful and considerate. Bedrooms are extremely well planned and spacious.

My brother has lived here for over 15 years and he is well looked after. He is happy and content and see's the other residents as family. Myself and small children visit as often as we can and have no complaints. We get invited to events and are looking forward to the forthcoming valentine's tea party.
It is very nice to feel that my brother is happy, safe and looked after whilst I live so far away. I would recommend this care home to all.

Our son has had a very good experience during his recent one week stay at this residence. He went on social outings to the local shops and pubs. He has a friend who is a resident and they were able to go out together and share meals in his friends flat. Staff were accommodating and respectful, and minor
difficulties (eg. wifi stopped working) were resolved on our son speaking to the unit manager.

Lincolnshire House continues to be the best place for our whole family to be reassured our brother is cared for. I'm not aware of any other unit where the staff are so caring and in-tune with the residents. Thank you, Lincolnshire House.

Lincolnshire House is a wonderful place. My daughter has lived here for over 17 years. She wouldn't want to live anywhere else. All of her needs are met here, she is encouraged to achieve her full potential. She enjoys many activities including; karate, wheelchair football, education, trampolining,
life skills and cooking. She tells everyone she wouldn't like to live anywhere else and that this is her home.

Current Review Score: 8.1 (8.135)

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 8.1 (8.135) out of 10 for Lincolnshire House is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  • a) The Average Rating is 5.0 out of 5 from 1 Reviews in the last 24 months.

  • b) The score for the number of positive Reviews is 3.1 out of 5 from 1 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Care Home is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  • a) 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months.

    The Average Rating of 5.000 for Lincolnshire House is calculated as follows: ( (12 Excellents x 5) ) ÷ 12 Ratings = 5

  • b) 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5').

The 3.135 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for Lincolnshire House is based on 1 positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as per below:

The 5 points available are broken down as follows:

    • i) 4 points are available for the first 10 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months; 3 points for the first Positive Review, and then 0.125 Points for each of the next four Positive Reviews and then 0.1 Points for the next five Positive Reviews. (1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.100, 7th = 0.100, 8th = 0.100, 9th = 0.100, 10th = 0.100) 3 = 3

    • ii) 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the registered maximum number of service users in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Care Home registered for a maximum of 50 service users has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 37 registered maximum number of service users is 7.4. 1 Positive Reviews ÷ 7.4 = 0.135

  • When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.

  • If a Care Home does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
