It was a huge decision to look into residential care for mum but she was fully involved at all times. We looked around more than one establishment but from the moment we arrived at Ashfield mum was made to feel welcome and that she mattered. Every member of staff we met as we looked round took the time to say a few words to her and she was asked what facilities she thought would be of benefit to her. The atmosphere was warm and friendly and the bedrooms are very nicely laid out. This had a huge influence in her choosing Ashfield. Since she moved in she has had nothing but praise for all the staff involved in her care. The facilities are not clinical but well maintained and clean care equipment is available if needed. Catering is very good with wholesome appetising options, residents are able to make choices about what and where they wish to eat. Activities take place daily There are a number of communal areas for residents and a garden that is maintained by members of staff.
