I am currently recovering since hospital admission following a fracture to my ankle; I normally live alone and therefore appreciate the support from the care staff who have helped me with rehabilitation. The food is fantastic, and there is a lot to choose from as they always offer alternatives if we
don't like what's on the menu, so I think that is fantastic. The care staff are very caring and supportive, healing me with recovery to enable me to eventually be able to go back home. I would 100% recommend this care home.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the care staff, kitchen staff cleaners and all the people involved with running of this care home at Highcliffe Care Home. My mother has been a resident at this care home for the past three and a half years. During the time the staff have looked after
my mother with extreme professionalism. Nothing was ever too much trouble for them when caring for my mother. If my mother had a fall, or if she was unwell and they needed to call a doctor, or she needed hospital treatment they would always contact me to keep me well informed of the situation. She used to love her cups of coffee and biscuits during the day and mixing with other residents in the communal area which is where she spent most of her time. As her son, I felt confident my mother was in safe hands and she was being well looked after 24 hours a day. Which is what any sibling wants, that their parents are in safe hands.

I would like to thank the home manager and his lovely staff for the high level of care my mam has received as a resident at Highcliffe.
They have acted throughout this pandemic in the interests of the residents in their care and kept them safe.
This has been an anxious time for families of care home
residents. The staff have worked tirelessly to keep the spirits of residents and their families up through these challenging times and to keep them well.
They have kept me updated concerning my mam's health and well-being and facilitated contact through video and audio calling and social media, then the garden and indoor visits.
Thank you again to all of you on behalf of my mam and myself.

Both my parents reside at Highcliffe and they have made my parents living as a married couple as normal as they could make it feel. They have two rooms one of which they use as a bedroom and the other they use as their private sitting room. It’s as much as independent living as they can make it. My
mum and dad whilst they would love to be still living in their own home understand that Highcliffe is working to give them the best care. My parents do complain about things as I’m sure all residents do to their families as it is not ideal but I have every confidence in the management and staff at Highcliffe and I cannot thank the staff enough for the assurance they give me. I can honestly say that I could not have managed without them.

My mam celebrated her 90th birthday on March 26th, and the manager was kind enough to let me and my three girls visit mam in the pod and activities coordinator decorated it lovely with balloons. We were absolutely over the moon to celebrate with her after the year we had had, I would recommend this
care home 100%, they kept everyone safe during this pandemic and I really feel like all their staff are excellent and would thank every one of them for looking after the residents all year.

Had a face to face visit with my aunt, first one due to coronavirus restrictions. Given PPE and temperature taken by staff, friendly and efficient. Due to the COVID-19 outbreak, I have been unable to visit my mother due to the care home being closed to visitors since 16th March. However, the staff have done everything possible to make sure the residents are kept safe and well. They also involved the residents in activities every day to keep their
morale up. We have been kept informed by FaceBook and video calls every week. It was Mam's 99th Birthday and the staff helped mam open cards and presents. She was delighted when they gave her a lovely birthday cake. They sent me a video of Mam blowing her candles out. We also saw Mama through the coffee shop window.

The staff are so helpful, approachable also friendly. They go far and beyond for the care of the residents, keeping all residents happy. There is never a dull moment as they sing, dance, pamper, play bingo, and the list goes on. Amazing care and support for my mother; she is well fed and watered, also
clean and showered every day. All her clothes are hew own and named, so they are not mixed up. Clean beds and carpets - everything is immaculate. This home doesn't smell at all. Simply the best for my mam and residents. Staff have been amazing through covid-19, allowed people to see relatives through the window, safe distance.

During my 3 years in management and leadership roles within health care, I have adopted a flexible democratic leadership approach utilising a range of skills to get the best from the team.


I encourage a supportive, open culture in which we learn and grow together this will aid the delivery of exceptional care.
I hold a Level 5 Diploma in management and leadership for health and social care along with qualifications in dementia care.
Highcliffe takes pride in delivering good standards of care, and we work hard to ensure we also promote a culture of #onefamily that not only enriches the lives of those in our care through our approach to well-being but also the staff here at Highcliffe.
Our team has strong values around dignity in care, who commit to being champions, and the whole team is involved in ensuring excellent outcomes for those in our care.

My name is Kieran and I am a Well-being and Activity Coordinator here at Highcliffe.
I could not be in a more rewarding job, having fun is part of my role. Every day making residents and staff smile while looking after their wellbeing is what I do when I am not planning events and trips out.


I am outgoing, sporty and a hiking enthusiast who listens to music as much as possible.
