Overall, my recent visit after the recent lockdown restrictions lifted went really well. Well organised, not a problem with lateral flow test. The visiting room was spacious and very clean. The staff, as always, very pleasant and helpful. The new management team very helpful and pleasant and kept me well informed during phone calls etc.
Spot on.
Everyone has been very kind.
Always greeted with a smile at the door, all staff feel like family. The atmosphere is always fun and laughter. Always go beyond in all their duties to help.
I would have liked to have something to eat earlier in the morning as 10 am for breakfast is too late. Unfortunately, I was isolated so had no connection with the other guests. I found the staff very attentive, willing to do anything they were able. This would have been a very happy place to be had I had the chance.
I am independent, I wash in the morning, change, make the bed. I only need a carer to change it once a week, help to get a bath once a week. Hair is a mess, hasn't been cut or blow dried since March 2020. I understand hard times with the Covid virus. I isolated 3 times. Took it all in my stride.
I feel very safe knowing nobody can come in plus that if I need help I just need to press my buzzer. No price is too big for peace of mind.
The home is lovely a few areas look tired and in need of updating but the standard of care is fantastic. Care staff are all lovely.
The home has a lovely warm feel to it and is homely yes it doesn't look like a hotel for the elderly and it shouldn't as this is someone's home not a local bed and breakfast or holiday in.
Can't recommend enough.
Care manager very professional at Mum's assessment. The initial day of admission to home staff very friendly and welcoming, aware that staff are busy with residents and general duties. A short orientation of the home, mum's room etc. May need to consider doing an inventory of resident's property, cash, clothing etc, as items may be misplaced. Staff need to check pre-post stay (done by myself). In general, my Mum enjoyed her stay and I was happy about her care.
Great place, very friendly, lovely rooms and facilities, very helpful staff and very welcoming.
Hi, thank you for the lovely feedback. At Crofton Court, we do try to be extremely welcoming and to ensure it has a lovely homely feel for individuals living there or for people staying for a short period of time. It was an absolute pleasure supporting your grandparent during their time with us.
I believe my mum is being very well looked after. They are very kind and helpful towards family members and to all patients.
Thank you very much for providing us with feedback of your experience of Crofton Court. I am delighted to hear that you feel your mother is being looked after well and that staff are kind and helpful, I will certainly pass this onto my team. As the Home Manager, I am constantly looking for ways to better the service we deliver, so any feedback is extremely important to me.
Due to a total loss of mobility, our mother became a resident of Crofton Court in July 2008. She sadly passed away on the 13th of September 2018. During her time in the residential home, we have to comment that the care, compassion and kindness of all the staff was outstanding. The accommodation was very comfortable and very well kept, as were all areas of the building, the meals were to a high standard and varied, and the personal attention she was given was excellent. Whilst able to, she enjoyed the organised activities and seasonal fayre days held during the year. We wish to express our sincere appreciation to every member of staff, both past and present, for their efforts and we would highly recommend Crofton Court to anyone seeking residential care.
We cannot thank all who work there enough for the support given to dad and ourselves.
