West Lodge is a modern house that can accommodate up to 6 adults with physical, sensory and learning disabilities. Situated within the Glamis House complex in Glenrothes in Fife and surrounded by landscaped gardens, the service is within walking distance from a variety of local amenities including shops, hairdressers and medical facilities. The home is also a short distance from popular local attractions such as the Glenrothes Golf Club and the Glenrothes Whisky Distillery, and is not far from Kirkcaldy, St Andrews and Edinburgh.
West Lodge delivers high quality care for adults with physical, sensory and learning disabilities in a friendly and safe environment. Regulated by the Care Inspectorate for Scotland, the dedicated and experienced team use a person centred approach to ensure every individual’s needs are understood and met with the greatest privacy, dignity and respect.
Each individual chooses how they are supported, and lead very active lives. With a focus on independence, health, wellbeing and skills building; extensive activity programmes offer something for everyone. As well as staff, a team of committed volunteers support individual and group activities, so all have the chance to be social, get creative or enjoy exercise.
West Lodge enables residents to get the most out of life, supporting individuals to maintain relationships with family and friends, and gain the ability to move on to more independent living when they’re ready.
