My Mum has been in Guide at Sandon Nursing Home for 3 years and the care has always been good. However, since this lady has been the Manager, the care and general running of the home has improved even further. All staff are very supportive and caring, the nursing care is excellent and the welcome at reception is always warm.

This home has dedicated, caring and friendly staff (both frontline and behind the scenes) in all the many roles that are needed to make it work successfully. A south facing courtyard with raised flowerbeds makes for a quiet and relaxing area during the warmer months.
Visiting animals including on occasions, dogs, owls, chicken and others provide interest to the residents, as do visiting entertainers and staff-led singing and ball games.

The services provided by Guide at Sandon are in good order. The staff are friendly and helpful. The home is clean and the food is tasty.
My mother's needs are cared for and she does not seem to be in distress. I rate the staff and care for my mother highly.

Recently moved dad to Guide at Sandon from another local nursing home. There is no comparison. Management has got everything spot on. We are amazed and happy at the high standard of care dad now has. He is treated with respect and dignity. We are happy to leave dad here knowing he is getting a high standard of care and attention.
Everything at Guide at Sandon is 5*, food is amazing quality and delicious. Care, attention and staff are brilliant. We cannot believe the change or the high standard of care that dad is now getting and deserves - absolutely recommend.

The care my nan was given in her final weeks was faultless. Each and every member of staff were kind and compassionate.
At first, we were concerned about her having to go into a home but we had no reason to be. They cared for her like she was a member of their own family.
They also cared for us because they knew how vulnerable we were as the visiting family.
I would highly recommend this home to anyone who needed to go into care.

It was an absolute pleasure caring for your nan and all the family; she was a very special lady and we were honoured to be able to care for you all. Having experienced several respite stays in this excellent home and despite being under new ownership, it was the preferred choice when in April 2017 my increasingly frail 91-year-old mother decided it was time for long term nursing care. Despite her familiarity with the home, she was initially very anxious and complained that she felt her needs were not being met. However thanks to the timely and effective intervention of the manager, all issues were quickly resolved and my mother is now content and wonderfully looked after with care and compassion, professionalism and great kindness.

My mum is very well looked after at this care home. She is always well dressed (care is taken to co-ordinate her clothing), clean and happy.
The food is well presented and of a very good standard. The carers are kind and always treat mum with the utmost dignity. Mum responds well to them and obviously feels at ease in their company.
This home has a happy "family" feel about it. My family and I are made to feel welcome and we know the staff are approachable. We are always kept in the look with regards to mum's care and needs and we know she is safe and they also have her best interests at heart.

As the home has recently changed hands, I am aware of an atmosphere of "disquiet". This is understandable. The staff in general are caring of the residents (ground floor) some residents are difficult. I am always amazed at the patience staff have towards all residents. Kindness is top of the list. My husband has 24 hour one to one care. All his staff are excellent.

The staff are polite, courteous and friendly. They always say hello to residents and visitors. They are always professional and attentive. If i have any concerns they always respond appropriately even when things are busy. I feel they manage my fathers care very well and despite his circumstances i feel he is happy and safe in this home.

Care home and staff very good. Care home at present is being re-decorated. What few concerns we have had have been dealt with promptly, the nursing staff are very efficient and they and the carers treat residents in a kind and professional way. There seems to be very little to stimulate residents who are in a more advanced state of dementia.
