Chorleywood is a brilliant care home, spotlessly clean, with very friendly staff with a warm and welcoming reception. The rooms are spacious and with a kitchenette and a large walk-in shower with a real home-from-home feeling.

My parents both moved into Chorleywood Manor in December 2023 and are full-time residents. It was a huge step for us to move them but from the minute we first visited we knew it was the right decision. Everyone made us feel so welcome on our tour and even made me a sandwich when my stomach rumbled!
The large open reception is so welcoming and Mum and Dad are able to be together. There is always something going on to keep the residents entertained. They have 3 meals a day and there are always cakes, fruit, sandwiches, etc they can help themselves to the bistro at any time during the day. With quite different needs the staff make sure they are both always looked after encouraging mum to participate in exercises as dad sleeps a lot so she's not left on her own. It's been the best thing we did for them and puts our minds at rest knowing they are being cared for and they have a lovely little apartment.

My mother recently went to Chorleywood Manor for a two-week respite stay. From the moment we walked in, we were struck by the warmth and the smiles on the faces of the residents. My mother was made to feel so welcome and she enjoyed every minute of her stay - she was so busy, she hardly had time to
talk to us. She loved the food and all the activities and it was great peace of mind for us to know she was being so well cared for.

From the first day I visited this care home (for my mother), I saw the love and care shown to its residents. My mother became a resident and I’ve seen her improve from not being able to feed herself and communicate to doing just that! She loves all the staff there. I can see this by the smiles, laughter,
and ‘high 5’s’ she gives them all. They in turn show enormous love for my mother. I can relax, as they have all the things in place to protect her more than I could ever do. All the staff is amazing, I can never thank them enough.

I visited Chorleywood Manor Care Home for the first time recently and was very impressed with the cleanliness of the home. Staff were very attentive to residents and there was a lovely atmosphere amongst residents and staff alike. I really couldn’t find a single fault.

Our fiercely feisty, independent mother was increasingly struggling to continue living alone (as dementia and mild Alzheimer's were taking their toll), and was unprepared to admit it. We managed to persuade her to try out Chorleywood as a respite break while we went on holiday. That was 8 months ago
and she is so happy to be there now. She has a fabulous 'apartment', she's made really close friends with other residents and she loves the staff, who she describes as 'always so kind and lovely'. She's healthier than she was at home as she eats proper meals three times a day, she's happier as she has company on tap if she wants it, she joins in lots of the activities and loves the friendly nature that permeates the home. My brother and I have been able to relax for the first time in years as we know she's in safe, caring hands and the staff are very good at staying in touch and always happy to have a chat.

Our mother initially went into Chorleywood Manor Care Home after a fall. She was adamant that she would stay in her own home. Obviously, we felt guilty about putting her in there; however, she is thriving thanks to the amazing teams - we couldn't ask for more. It has made her realise that she can’t
cope in a house on her own! It is like a 5-star hotel plus more. The whole family are always welcome, and we love to go and join in with all the amazing events they have.
A care home is down to the staff, and in my opinion, they are the best and always available to talk to.

My family were away for work and holiday for six weeks just after Mum (88) had come out of hospital. We placed her in respite care. She had company, care, something to do, someone to cook and clean for her. She saw a real doctor instead of a telephone consultation. When she came out she looked ten
years younger and considerably fitter as she had managed to walk the length of the care home rather than her sitting room. She had visitors during her stay and they were made welcome. As her son, I cannot recommend the care home enough. Communication between the home and me was excellent and always remembered that Mum still had an active brain and the ability to make decisions. Before she went in, providing sufficient care for her while working full time was killing me and not helping her to enjoy life. The staff were very respectful of what she wanted to do, pointing out activities without making her take part. Tip to others - sign the social media disclaimer to see what they get up to!

My mum has been in Chorleywood Manor for nearly a year now and I cannot recommend the home more. The staff are always so cheerful and professional. There always seems like something going on, from singing and dancing to themed events. The peace of mind of having my mum looked after in such a professional
way cannot be overestimated. Knowing she is being looked after and happy is truly a blessing. Thank you to all the lovely colleagues who feed her and care for her on a day-to-day basis, It was our best decision.

The moment I walked through the door at Chorleywood Manor and met the client liaison manager, I knew this was the right care home. My mum had been in hospital after a bad fall and had deteriorated badly. The excellent care she received from all the staff and carers saw her improve greatly. The staff
are always happy and helpful, engaging so nicely with my mum. The food is excellent and caters for her needs. My mum loves all the musical entertainment and special events they put on. I have seen her singing and dancing which has absolutely delighted us. It’s more like a hotel than a care home. Thank you to everyone at Chorleywood Manor.

Our mother was resident at Chorleywood Manor for ten years until she died this September aged 95, initially in assisted living and latterly in reminiscence. She lived with dementia throughout this time and the care she received was outstanding: kind, considerate and always respectful of her needs and
wishes, even as her understanding diminished over time. The management and staff are exceptional people at every level who became genuine friends to us in the family. We always knew every day that she was in the safest possible place and far from being a footnote to her life, those ten years were actually a richly blossoming new part of it. One of the reasons for this was the range of activities provided, from art classes to singing, poetry groups to quiz nights. The facilities are spacious and comfortable and the catering of a very high standard. We would have no hesitation in recommending it to anyone looking for a warm and caring home for themselves or a relative.

Seeing my mother-in-law comfortable and happy means the world to me. I am truly grateful to all the staff at Chorleywood Manor. The staff members/care teams deserve all the praise and a 1000 characters is not enough to express how wonderful they all are. To know that each day my mother-in-law is cared
for sets my heart and mind at peace. Selecting a home for a loved one is very difficult and worrying for all those concerned no matter what level of care is required. I can with hand on heart say Chorleywood Manor is a first-rate home.
The staff members/care teams work with a smile on their faces and are so gentle with the residents. I have been fortunate to attend several times when the afternoon entertainment has been taking place, the residents enjoy these activities immensely. The medical team members are first-rate and attend to every situation with grace and compassion.

Thank you so much Chorleywood Manor for looking after my husband in August. He would not have managed home alone while I had to be away for three weeks and you really came to our rescue! My wife has been a resident at Chorleywood Manor since the end of June 2023. It was not an easy decision and I am delighted to say that I am very pleased with the care that my wife receives. All the staff are very friendly and approachable and no effort seems to be spared to ensure that the residents
are able to live the best lives they can. The menus, activities, cleanliness and overall happy atmosphere of the home are just what anyone could wish for and it seems more like a luxury hotel than a care home.

We moved my dad from a previous home in March 2023. We are so glad we did! Dad's quality of life has gone up hugely. The quality of care and the genuine caring nature of all the staff - from the office, reception and carers is second to none. I would highly recommend it!

My mother came to this outstanding assisted care home at the end of June following a serious fall. She recovered so very well, and quickly, thanks to the kindness and support of all the team. After having made many friends in the first month, and having enjoyed the company and care of the team, mum
decided to stay longer! The quality of care is excellent, everyone, from the carers to senior managers, are very visible and caring, and very caring of mum, and the whole family. This is the first time we have used a care home, and I certainly wouldn't class this as a care home, it is the same experience and quality as living on a cruise ship, five stars! Mum has a beautiful quality one bedroom apartment, with contemporary finishes, very comfortable, it really is home from home. Mum loves the entertainment, food is excellent, the family and friends love dining with her, and I just couldn't fault anything! Thank you Avery Collection!

I cannot praise everyone enough at Chorleywood Manor (previously Signature). My dad has been there since the end of December 2022 and has settled in very well. The care staff are very friendly and try to go above and beyond to make sure my dad is comfortable. All staff are very friendly, not only to
my dad, but to us as visitors too. When looking for a suitable care home for my dad, this definitely felt the most clean, comforting and friendly. All these qualities are very much still in place. In my view, I chose the best one.

My brother was receiving 24-hour care at his home, which I have to say could not be classed as care. Most of them sat there and did nothing, not cleaning, checking he had food, or if he had taken his meds.
We started looking for a care home. After visiting the Signature, we were very surprised at the
quality and professionalism.
We were impressed with the concern shown for my brother's well-being. Keeping us updated and working with us to keep him comfortable and safe. I was impressed with the accommodation; it is not like a traditional care home. The facilities and activities which are available are very reassuring to us, and the staff are friendly, helpful and very caring.
Everything about the whole operation is professional. This is the level of care anyone would want and deserve. They are also thoughtful, and that is what we have experienced. There are specific people assigned to him to keep everything constant and stable for him. Whenever we visit, we are always welcome.

We needed to get better care for my elderly aunt than she was getting at home. She suffers from Dementia/Alzheimer’s, and we graduated from a “live-in” carer. This proved to be insufficient. We visited several homes and settled for Signature at Chorleywood. The process was very easy, and we were assisted
all through the process by one lady. We arranged a visit and tour, and all our questions were answered. From the day our aunt moved in, she has received first-class care and attention from all the staff. They all do a wonderful job ensuring everyone is taken into the dining room for meals and receives any special requirements, and nothing is too much for them. The residents are assisted with all their personal hygiene, and we are kept up to date with what the staff require for my aunt's personal needs, and also when a GP had visited and the results of GP visits. I cannot recommend them enough. I am unable to rate the home any higher than five stars. The home is like a five-star hotel.

Signature at Chorleywood has been fantastic with my mum. The best endorsement I can give them is when I picked my mum up on Christmas Day to take her for lunch. She was dressed immaculately, and her room was spotless and tidy. If there was a day when you thought standards might have lapsed, it would
have been Christmas Day, but the service was superb.
Although Mum has dementia, her general health has improved, and she is now walking better and also seems much more engaged. The staff are great, and every interaction I have had with them has been courteous and respectful - I know my mum is in good hands.

I started my role at Signature at Chorleywood in 2009 as a Senior Care Assistant in the Reminiscence neighbourhood. As Dementia Care Manager my passion is to ensure my team and I strive to provide the highest quality of dementia care to our residents, giving our residents and their families memories to treasure as we go through this journey together. I want our relatives to have peace of mind as they are reassured that their loved ones are in safe hands. It is rewarding when I see the difference we are making in both the resident and their families' lives. Above all, I believe that we are on this journey together.
