Lourdes Nursing Home is part of the Lourdes Community which was established by the Ursuline Sisters of the Roman Union of the order of St Ursula. The home provides social, spiritual, emotional and nursing care for residents in an environment where independence is encouraged and rules and legislation are kept to a minimum.
Residents can take part in a range of activities in the home and can benefit from a visiting hairdresser, chiropodist, optician and clergy. Alternative therapies are also offered, including reflexology, massage therapy and aromatherapy.
Bedrooms at Lourdes Nursing Home are comfortable and are fitted with call systems and television and telephone points. The en-suite facilities in the bedrooms are fitted with a bath hoist.
There is a communal lounge in the home where residents can relax and sit quietly or watch television, listen to music, or watch the home’s tropical fish. All floors can be easily access by a lift.
