    The Average Rating of 4.721 for Lindsay Hall Nursing Home is calculated as follows: ( (52 Excellents x 5) + (13 Goods x 4) + (3 Satisfactorys x 3) ) ÷ 68 Ratings = 4.721

My mother moved here in August 2017. Since then, because of the care received she is now integrated with other residents, rather than kept in isolation in the BUPA home she left, has begun to eat more solid food and has become more like the mother we know. She has met and held her great-grandson which was something we didn't think we'd ever see before her move here. The home is spacious with a large garden and the manager and her staff have a very open, honest and down to earth attitude, which hugely benefits both residents and their families.
I feel my mother is now safe and very well cared for in a home where, if needed, I wouldn't mind living in myself.

I would like to offer my comments with respect to Lindsay Hall Nursing Home, Bexhill-on-Sea: Following severe physical and mental trauma, my Mother-in-Law spent 6 months (mostly in bed) in a London care home with little improvement in her condition. We were fortunate enough to obtain a placement for her in Lindsay Hall and in the relatively short time she has been there she has been reintegrated into social interaction and from the moment we arrived the staff and all other aspects of the service have been beyond reproach - well done Lindsay Hall!

My mother in law was only at Lindsay Hall a short time, but she was treated with utmost care and decency.
All staff were kind.
She was clean and dressed with dignity.
I was kept informed at all times and was given regular updates.
She was very comfortable and well looked after.
Her main key person was lovely and attended her needs intuitively - a warm and kind person.
All of the staff were polite, kind, friendly, caring and welcoming.

The manager and her staff were brilliant at Lindsay Hall Nursing Home. After a 12-week stay in a hospital, a 9-week search of nursing homes and several assessments on dad and being refused, Lindsay Hall Nursing Home accepted the "challenge." Dad was there for the final month of his life of which we couldn't have asked for more. They let him carry on as he wanted, they looked after both him and mum on her many visits and we felt he couldn't have had better treatment. It was certainly a home from home, nothing was too much trouble and we never worried about leaving him. After a stroke and ending up back in the hospital they were willing to take him back for his final days in which we were all looked after right to the end. After visiting many homes, not one gave me the same feeling as that of Lindsey Hall when I entered the front door. All I can say is that it was to our advantage that he was rejected by all the others. It was friendly, clean and tidy. The care was excellent and food good hearty and healthy we can't speak highly enough of the whole team.

I cannot praise the staff enough for the care they gave to my husband; very attentive and caring; nothing was too much trouble for them. How they maintain the level of care throughout their shift amazes me.

A very friendly and welcoming place with lots going on, but no pressure to join in if quiet time is needed. I loved the fact that all the staff welcomed and spoke to my mum and didn't address ask questions through me as if she wasn't there. Mum was clean, well cared for and happy when I picked her up. All her clothes were there and labelled and beautifully packed. Mum had her hair done as promised, nails painted, joined in activities and seemed to have really enjoyed her stay. Staff were kind, helpful and caring even lifting her suitcase and wheelchair into the car for me. I would have no hesitation in recommending Lindsay Hall and hope mum can stay with them again.
