Staff were very friendly. I got a lot of confidence from the OT team helping with exercises. I would have liked cold water/fridge available to drink as water given was warm and not changed often enough during day which made it hard to drink enough. I think each room should have a small fridge in it
so I could store cold drinks.

Caring and patient staff were encouraging, especially the physios greatly aided me to increase my mobility. Comfortable room and excellent food. When I first came to this care home for rehab, I was in a great deal of pain and unable to bare weight on my foot. Over the last four weeks, thanks to the carers, nurses and physios, I am in a position to go home soon and I am so grateful to all for all the staff and hard work.

Felt welcomed and safe from the moment of arrive. Very caring environment food good with choice is varied. Staff response to call bell prompt 24 hours a day and resident encouraged to use bell. I believe there are activities to which I was invited my choice was to read in a peaceful environment excellent

My experience at Victoria Chatsworth was it had a very homely feel about it. Everybody was so friendly from the time I arrived until when I left. The staff made my wife feel so comfortable when she came, it was a pleasure for her to visit. There was never short of a nice coffee when she arrived would

Initially here for two weeks, then slightly longer. Care was good and majority of staff were very kind. Food was very good with choices. My mother did not wish to join in activities although these were offered.

From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel welcome. The facilities were clean and comfortable. They were compassionate, taking time to listen and address any concerns I had.

Have enjoyed my "enforced" stay here. Everyone is very pleasant and professional. The food is very good.
I don't need much care as I am pretty independent. I felt that they respected my wishes on this. There is no place like home though.

My cousin has been in the care home for 3 years. He is now 99 years old. During this time he has been at the home he has been extremely well looked after by all members of staff. I would highly recommend this home to anybody.

I have been very happy here and comfortable here. My room is delightful and the staff could not be more helpful. The food is good and varied and each week we have a range of interesting activities to pursue. Although I am here because of ill health I can't imagine that I could have been anywhere better.
