I have now been in the Victoria Chartwell for 4 weeks and my room is lovely and I must say the care I have had from all who work here are very friendly and always willing to help no matter your request. Many of the staff always smile when greeting you which makes your day a happier one, they listen
to you on your bad days and talk in a way to cheer you up. They are all very underrated group of people who deserve more.

Moving from the hospital I must say it's like chalk and cheese this place is absolutely amazing the staff are 5 stars friendly and very knowledgeable and kind

The overall experience of Victoria Chartwell were excellent. My wife's treatment and care were second to none. Communication between the family and all the staff was also was again first class. As a family, we were thoroughly satisfied with the care of my wife.

I came to Victoria Chartwell straight from hospital not knowing what to expect. I was very pleasantly surprised. The care and attention to detail was exemplary. The rooms were spacious and airy. The attention of the carers excellent and any queries/questions answered promptly. The food and choices of
it were plenty. No hesitation in recommending this establishment.

I found room 20 really small, also the lack of shelves to put anyhting, so water gets spilled frequently.

Since I arrived here the staff have looked after me very well. Everything I need is given to me quickly and courteously. Staff are available day and night and are always friendly and helpful. The home is clean and tidy and the rooms are adequately furnished.

Victoria Chartwell is amazing. Everyone is so kind and caring, me and my family can't thank the staff enough for the care of my Mum. My mum was in Victoria Chartwell for rehabilitation, the care she got was amazing the staff are the kindest loveliest people I have ever met, we were worried how she would be in there but seriously she didn't want to come Home. She was kept busy with activities and sitting and chatting with staff and
other residents.
The physio team worked so well with her to get her strong and back home.
I can't thank everyone enough for the kindness you showed Mum and our family.

My Father was a resident from 14th Nov 2024 to date for rehabilitation after falling over on a public road and fracturing his neck and wrist. The service of the staff at Chartwell has been amazing and I cannot express how well my Father is being looked after. The staff are very kind, polite and professional.
So pleased my Father was taken care of at this nursing home.

My dad's been a resident here since having several foods and was referred by the hospital. I can't compliment the staff here enough, every single one of them is genuinely interested in each resident and spends time chatting and I can confirm the care here has been taken is not just in his room. He constantly
enjoys the food, enjoys the conversation with all his nurses and carers and the fabulous place.

My brother, aged 71, was a resident at Victoria Chartwell for four months after receiving a terminal diagnosis at the Royal Sussex. During these months, until his death, he was looked after very well by the nursing and care staff who treated him with kindness and dignity. The staff invariably sought
to cheer him up if he was down and he always spoke of how well he was treated by them. A special mention should be made of the chef as my brother loved the food which is made in the Home's kitchen. If he wasn't feeling very well the chef came to his room and suggested something light to eat and made it specially for him.
The last days of my brother's life were difficult for him and his family, but the nursing and care staff were so kind to all of us and made the whole situation bearable. Thank you to the manager and your wonderful staff. We'll never forget you.
