All the staff very kind and proffesional. Shame lift is not working. Home kept very clean and tidy.
Thank you and we do apologise that the lift is currently awaiting full refurbishment. Sadly, it takes a great deal of time to have the parts delivered.
I found my stay at the nursing home very pleasant. The manageress and her staff made my stay very comfortable (3 months) it was a very happy atmosphere to be there. Very well run by all who worked there. I would recomend any person who needs care and attention in later life to reside here. My thanks to all staff and carers for looking after during my stay there. Thanks to Victoria Chartwell I am back gome on full recovery.
Thank you for your review and you will be aware that we are now undergoing a full refurbishment to enhance the rooms and facilities.
The staff are excellent. They are all very welcoming, understanding, and caring. They are all very hardworking and nothing is overlooked. The comfort of the residents is their prime concern. The food is plentiful and a wide variety is available. The level of cleanliness can not be surpassed. The entire home is spotlessly clean.
We are delighted that you are so happy with the home!
As I am here under NHS care I am unable to enter value for money, but should I need care in the future I hope I can. Come to Chartwell to caring staff + happy facility.
Much appreciated.
A lot of kind and efficient care. The building is undergoing a large scale programme of alteration and improvements but the staff are coping well and the standard of care is maintained at a high standard.
I am writing on behalf of my Aunt who recently stayed following her hospital admission.
The interior of the home needs decorating / updating as it looks somewhat tired in some areas but that does not retract from what is most important...... The delivery of care.
The manager and staff are very kind, supportive and deliver appropriate and effective care with dignity and respect; they also listened and acted in the best interest of my Aunt, liaising with the family, all health, allied health and social care representatives effectively and in a timely manner.
My aunt reported that the food was good and she put on some much needed weight which is so important for her health and wellbeing.
I would like to thank each and every one of the staff for their kindness and compassion.
Thank you so much for your kind review and we agree about the interior needing updating and you should know that contractors have now commenced on a full refurbishment and extension of the home.
Such a fabulous home with the most wonderful staff. From the very start, when I was still in the ambulance, I met so many nurses, carers and managers, all doing their best to reassure me and it worked. I feel so comfy here, almost to the point I don't wish to go home! I have been treated with dignity and respect at all times. The food is well thought out and delivered hot when needed. Such a variety so well 5* from me!
So glad you feel you had a 5-star experience.Thank you.
His entire stay has been completely satisfactory from all aspects. The care we have received has been above expectations. The nurses, care staff & physios have all been kind, caring and proactive.
My husband's general health, as well as his mobility, has improved immediately, and he's now ready and motivated to return home and resume his normal lifestyle. Thanks to all the staff for all the appointments for his onward care.

I have now been in the Victoria Chartwell for 4 weeks and my room is lovely and I must say the care I have had from all who work here are very friendly and always willing to help no matter your request. Many of the staff always smile when greeting you which makes your day a happier one, they listen to you on your bad days and talk in a way to cheer you up. They are all very underrated group of people who deserve more.

In my short time here the nursing staff have been great and have really looked after.
Thank you so much for taking the time to provide your lovely review.
I came to Victoria Chartwell straight from hospital not knowing what to expect. I was very pleasantly surprised. The care and attention to detail was exemplary. The rooms were spacious and airy. The attention of the carers excellent and any queries/questions answered promptly. The food and choices of it were plenty. No hesitation in recommending this establishment.
Thank you for your lovely review.Much appreciated.
I found room 20 really small, also the lack of shelves to put anyhting, so water gets spilled frequently.
Very sorry that you had one of the smallest bedrooms but we do note your comments and will now seek to rearrange the room to make it easier to access water jugs and so on.We much appreciate the feedback.
Since I arrived here the staff have looked after me very well. Everything I need is given to me quickly and courteously. Staff are available day and night and are always friendly and helpful. The home is clean and tidy and the rooms are adequately furnished.
Thank you for your very kind review and I am delighted you feel well looked after.
I was completely satisfed with my stay and do not have any recomendation for improvement.
We are delighted you were so happy and appreciate the 5-star review.
