I am writing on behalf of my Aunt who recently stayed following her hospital admission.


The interior of the home needs decorating / updating as it looks somewhat tired in some areas but that does not retract from what is most important...... The delivery of care.


The manager and staff are very

kind, supportive and deliver appropriate and effective care with dignity and respect; they also listened and acted in the best interest of my Aunt, liaising with the family, all health, allied health and social care representatives effectively and in a timely manner.


My aunt reported that the food was good and she put on some much needed weight which is so important for her health and wellbeing.


I would like to thank each and every one of the staff for their kindness and compassion.

Such a fabulous home with the most wonderful staff. From the very start, when I was still in the ambulance, I met so many nurses, carers and managers, all doing their best to reassure me and it worked. I feel so comfy here, almost to the point I don't wish to go home! I have been treated with dignity
and respect at all times. The food is well thought out and delivered hot when needed. Such a variety so well 5* from me!

My husband has been in the care home following several weeks recovering from a fractured hip.
His entire stay has been completely satisfactory from all aspects. The care we have received has been above expectations. The nurses, care staff & physios have all been kind, caring and proactive.
My husband's
general health, as well as his mobility, has improved immediately, and he's now ready and motivated to return home and resume his normal lifestyle. Thanks to all the staff for all the appointments for his onward care.

I have now been in the Victoria Chartwell for 4 weeks and my room is lovely and I must say the care I have had from all who work here are very friendly and always willing to help no matter your request. Many of the staff always smile when greeting you which makes your day a happier one, they listen
to you on your bad days and talk in a way to cheer you up. They are all very underrated group of people who deserve more.

I came to Victoria Chartwell straight from hospital not knowing what to expect. I was very pleasantly surprised. The care and attention to detail was exemplary. The rooms were spacious and airy. The attention of the carers excellent and any queries/questions answered promptly. The food and choices of

Since I arrived here the staff have looked after me very well. Everything I need is given to me quickly and courteously. Staff are available day and night and are always friendly and helpful. The home is clean and tidy and the rooms are adequately furnished.

My mum was in Victoria Chartwell for rehabilitation, the care she got was amazing the staff are the kindest loveliest people I have ever met, we were worried how she would be in there but seriously she didn't want to come Home. She was kept busy with activities and sitting and chatting with staff and
other residents.
The physio team worked so well with her to get her strong and back home.
I can't thank everyone enough for the kindness you showed Mum and our family.
