I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Stanton Court to anyone who was looking for a care/nursing home for either permanent or respite stays.
Thank you for your very kind words. It was a pleasure to care for your Mum, albeit for a short time. We are so glad that you were pleased with the care she received. I will pass on your kind words to all the Stanton Court team.
My Father moved to this wonderful Care Home from another home where standards were not so great, the team of staff are wonderful, and make my father feel part of the family, when we cant be there, wonderful grounds and a joy in the summer to sit on the patio and look at the beautiful gardens and wildlife, knowing he is cared for well gives peace of mind and we are always made to feel welcome, great entertainment staff who try to get all involved no matter what their ability, home is spotless and food fresh and great quality, highly recommended.
Thank you for your kind review of Stanton Court Care & Nursing Home. We are so pleased that you are happy with the care and support your father receives here and it's lovely to know that he is happy here and feels a part of our Stanton family.
I wish to convey my thanks to all the staff at Stanton Court Nursing Home for looking after my Father so well over the past 3 years. Everyone at the Home is kind and friendly and the welfare of their guests is always foremost. On all my visits at all times of the day or night I was always made to feel welcome and my Father valued the staff that regularly checked in with him, and who frequently spent time chatting with him. Overall I felt that the Nursing Home provided a very personable and high standard of nursing care.
Thank you for your very kind words. It was a pleasure to care for your Dad and we are pleased that you felt so welcome here as well. All the staff were very fond of your Dad and he is very much missed.
From management to the care team and all staff, are outstanding. Dad prefers to stay in his room, but they make sure they check in on him many times each day, stopping for chats, getting him involved in activities (even in his room) and feeling valued. Nothing is too much bother for them.
Dad has a limited diet and the kitchen team goes out of their way to make sure he is eating and drinking and enjoying everything and it is adapted to suit him.
I couldn't wish for better care for Dad. Thank you.

We had the emotional task of having to move Mum from a care home she loved and settled in, at short notice due to being informed it was closing. Stanton Court staff were so caring and supportive of Mum and us as a family at this time and managed what could have been a tricky transition smoothly. Mum settled well and feels safe and cared for. Staff support and being given choices have seen Mum become more confident and she has been on several trips out with other residents. Quick to respond when health visits arise, the staff and GP are excellent. Family visiting is encouraged and you always feel welcome.

My mother has been in Stanton Court for 5 months and settled in remarkably quickly considering that she was very anxious and resistant about going into care. Stanton Court is a small care home with lovely gardens. The excellent manager runs a great team. Everyone is so kind and caring. They all go the extra mile to make sure Mum is safe, always respecting her dignity but with a smile and kind remarks. They regularly provide extra activities such as outings, games and manicures while making the family aware of any care or medical concerns. The kitchen team make and serve lovely meals. Thanks so much, everyone.

My mum has been a resident at Stanton Court for the last two months. She settled very quickly and since arrival has been treated with so much kindness and respect. There is a family atmosphere at Stanton Court that extends beyond the staff and the residents to us, the family of residents. When Mum's health problems are worrying and complex we feel very much 'in this together' with the care home staff. Stanton Court has a homely feel and is warm and comfortable with a beautiful garden and lovely views. The Manager is excellent, running the business with skill and good humour, creating an environment in which everyone excels and always seems so cheerful in their work. We couldn't have chosen a better home for our mum.

Such a lovely home, Dad is so happy we wish we had moved him sooner. The staff are all very friendly and supportive and they show such affection and kindness to Dad it is heartwarming and reassuring. They have become like our extended family and we have absolute faith in their care for Dad. The 'home' is like a proper home with character and comfort. It's peaceful and the garden is beautiful and easy to access.

Our mother was a resident at Stanton Court for 16 months. The care she received was excellent. Stanton Court has a friendly atmosphere with kind, considerate, polite staff. The rural setting is lovely with views over the countryside. The rooms vary in size and facilities and are clean and comfortable. The food was plentiful and homemade. The management team were approachable, understanding and professional. Overall, we were very satisfied.

Stanton Court is a very homely care home. Every member of staff is friendly, attentive and willing to undertake different tasks when colleagues are ill or an unexpected staff shortage arises. Even the manager puts her hand to different tasks as necessary. She, the manager, runs a tight ship but mixes easily with staff. Care staff (and other staff) treat residents with appropriate consideration and respond as quickly as circumstances allow. Residents may need to wait to go to the toilet at meal times so must decide to ask for toilet assistance sufficiently prior to meal times or wait until the mealtime is over. This need not be a problem as most residents wear pads. Some residents are impatient and walk without an attendant member of the care staff, although other residents may ask them to sit and wait. Such impatience or disregard for personal safety can result in the risk of a fall.
Thank you for your review and for your lovely feedback. We appreciate you taking the time to leave us a review and that you are happy with the care we provide for your wife and also your sister. I will pass your comments on to the rest of the team here at Stanton Court.
The relationship with the community is unique and engages young with the elderly, which is heartwarming.
There is definitely a family feel at Stanton Court. The home itself is cosy, clean and the gardens are superb.
Having activities for residents to participate in is fantastic, to see everyone enjoying themselves brings joy.
I have recommended Stanton Court to family and friends as the change in my relative, since arriving there, has been immense. I cannot rate the home highly enough would give 100 stars if I could.
Fantastic, brilliant, welcoming, caring etc keep up the good work.

My mum is very happy in the home and loves all of the staff.
Visitors are made to feel very welcome, and contact between the care home and next of kin is excellent.
The activities are great, and Mum really enjoys them. They are always thinking up new ideas for things to do and places to go.
The home is very well organised, and nothing is too much trouble for any of the staff.
The grounds are beautiful, and Mum really enjoys the gardens and outside spaces.

My aunt has only recently moved to Stanton Court. I have found the team there to be very caring, loving, and helpful in every way. She has a lovely room, and enjoys the activities in the lounge downstairs, as well as sitting in the conservatory looking out over the garden. She enjoys the choice of meals, snacks and beverages offered to her. She was thrilled to have her hair and nails done, and recently the home arranged to have her eyes tested. I can rest assured that she is in good hands there. It's a lovely home and the staff makes you feel very welcome when visiting.

Stanton Court provides a caring environment, where an individual can live peacefully, accepted with respect. The quality of the management and staff is outstanding and they go the extra mile in amazing ways. Families are supported and communication is excellent at every level. There is exceptional nursing care for residents as this is required. Activity organisers are employed during the week who are readily available to share with family members how to best enhance the stay at Stanton Court. Communication at every stage is appreciated both ways in the best interest of each resident. My sister's daughter and son were themselves supported in her last days at this difficult time. We appreciate the care we received as a family, with good communication and respect which enhances everyone's involvement. It was a privilege being part of the Stanton Court family, which has exceptional management and loving care throughout. Thank you Stanton Court Team, you are all a blessing.
Thank you so much for taking the time to write your heartfelt review. We are pleased to hear that you have been happy with the care and time our staff have given to your sister. Your family quickly became a much loved part of our Stanton Court family, and we welcome you back any time for a chat over a cup of tea and cake. Best Regards.
My father moved into Stanton Court in December 2022 due to his dementia and caring requirements. His room was comfortable and clean, with a wonderful view, but the most important thing was the staff that cared for him and the whole team at Stanton Court. Everyone had time to care for him and to explain what was happening and supported my mother and made her feel welcome when she visited most days. My father struggled to settle in at times, but everyone did their best to make Stanton Court feel like home for him. The food was excellent, and there were lots of activities to take part in if he wanted to. Unfortunately, at the start of April 2023, he became unwell and started to deteriorate and eventually passed away on the 10th of April. In that time, the Stanton Court "team" rallied around him to make him as comfortable and supported my mother and me. After his passing, they continued this support us. Thank you, Stanton Court team; highly recommended.
Thank you for your review and for your lovely feedback. We appreciate you taking the time to leave us a review and that you are happy with the care we provided for your father. I will pass on your kind words to the rest of the team here at Stanton Court.
Following a month-long stay in the hospital, I felt I needed some respite care to build up my strength before returning home. I chose Stanton Court as I had heard very good things about the home. Despite my late-evening arrival, the night staff on duty were very welcoming, helpful and caring. They helped me to my room which was very clean and comfortable. Throughout my week-long stay, I was very well supported by all the staff, and I enjoyed fantastic meals which met my dietary requirements. The home was clean and tidy throughout, with a pleasant and calm atmosphere. My favourite place to sit was in the conservatory, which was peaceful and looked out on the extensive and beautiful gardens. I cannot fault anything about the home and highly recommend it. Thank you to everyone at Stanton Court for such a pleasant and relaxing stay.
Thank you for leaving us a review; it was our pleasure to care for you at Stanton Court, and we are delighted that you enjoyed your stay with us.
Both my grandmother has been here (sadly passed now), but my great uncle is still there now. The manager has always gone above and beyond for us. Can’t fault anything they’ve done. I feel that the comfort of my grandmother and my uncle were and are always their main concern. I follow the activities they do on social media, and it’s so heartwarming to see how much they do with the residents. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking around.

A home from home for my dad. I never had to worry about our decision. Dad moving to Stanton Court from the hospital was the best decision we could have made for him. From day one, my dad and our family were made to feel at home. What an absolutely wonderful place. All of the staff were amazing and so caring to both my dad and us. I loved visiting him there. The way the staff cared for my dad and all the residents was out of this world. I felt like I was part of a big, loving family, which is how I've felt all my life, so how lucky were we to be able to continue this at Stanton Court. Thank you so much for looking after my lovely dad, all of you.
