Previously Mum was downstairs, now she has moved upstairs and she is interacting more than she did. She tries to start conversations, seems more alert, still happy. Staff are great - positive, allowing independence, music is very upbeat and this is obviously helping Mum. One member of staff sends videos, photos of what she has been doing with Mum. Excellent, we are very happy. Thank you to all staff.

I have found the staff very helpful and kind, answered all our questions and sorted our problems when we have had one. The home is very clean and the food excellent. Top marks to all concerned, when my uncle was 100 years old they put on a very good display on of his past life plus a card from the king.

And to finish it off we had Elvis and fish and chips out of the paper. A good job well done. Top marks.

My father was here for 7 months, and the care he received was of a very high standard.
Staff were caring, friendly, welcoming and professional, always took time with him, and looked after him well.
The home has its own chef, so favourite meals can be prepared on-site for residents.
Staff looked after his physical health well and communicated any health issues to us on a regular basis, always keeping us up to date with what was happening.
Dad never wanted to go into a home. He was at the stage where he couldn't do anything for himself so needed 24/7 care. We wanted a home where staff would be kind and caring to him - we found that here.

My heartfelt thanks go to all the staff at Hodge Hill Grange, for the superb care you took of my dad, who sadly passed away at the weekend. And thanks to you calling us in on time, he died surrounded by family.

My mom was cared for absolutely brilliantly at this home. Staff always welcomed me and my family every visit, nothing was too much trouble. Mom was always happy and singing and loved the staff. The staff work hard and I am very grateful for everything they've done for my mom.

I feel that my dad is being well looked after in Hodge Hill Grange Care Home. His medical needs are well taken care of and he is encouraged to engage and be involved in activities he would probably not do if left alone. He has done painting and karaoke, which he has enjoyed. He also enjoys the entertainment, especially "Elvis". There is a good variety of food and drink and he receives more visitors than he did at home. Thanks for looking after him.

My father-in-law was admitted to the hospital in April after falling which was becoming frequent. From the hospital, we transferred him here as it was obvious he needed daily supervision. At this point he was immobile, suffering from Parkinson's symptoms and had not been looking after himself. Three months following this he is mobile, cheerful, chatting and interested - all down to the competent care of the staff. Everyone welcomes you and this is a home from home.

The moment I stepped into Hodge Hill Care Home, I knew my late wife was in safe hands. A friendly greeting in a clean and warm environment. Communication was excellent throughout. All of the staff showed great kindness, understanding and humour when applicable. Although my wife couldn't eat much, the food was first-class.

From the manager to the lady who was on laundry duties, the service was superb. Well done!

Sadly my Mom was only in the nursing home for 9 days but during those 9 days the care and attention she received was second to none. All the staff from the care assistants, well being nurses, cleaners and the manager treated my Mom with the utmost respect and dignity at all times.
Although my Mom never managed to eat a meal they looked both substantial and nutritious and were always readily available as were the cups of tea and meal replacements.
The room was clean and spacious and we were allowed to take in things from home to make it feel more homely which I thought was a lovely touch.

I do not have anything negative to say about Hodge Hill Grange and am only pleased that my Moms final days were spent in such a lovely place with such lovely people.

That was the first time I was involved with a nursing home and funding etc. I was on a steep learning curve. The managers and nursing staff were extremely supportive and helpful in my navigating my understanding. The home is a very happy one, the staff are always smiling and efficient. Food very good care excellent. My brother is happy and well cared for. The care plan for him second to none. I was buzzing about how happy and as independent as possible without support he was. Highly recommended.

Dad was under the care of Hodge Hill Grange Care Home for almost four years. His care was excellent, with friendly staff who made him feel at home. He really enjoyed the food and drink available and also enjoyed taking part in the activities on offer. Rooms were kept clean and tidy as were communal areas. Thank you to all the staff management.

My wife was a resident at Hodge Hill Grange Care Home for five and a half years having suffered from dementia. During that time she was always very well looked after by the management and staff who displayed kindness, dedication and loving care throughout (often in very difficult circumstances) until her death in January 2022.

The family will forever be grateful for the care received and also for the friendship, courtesy and respect shown to me and other family members, particularly during these very difficult times caused by the pandemic.
