The 5 points available are broken down as follows:
4 points are available for the first 5 Positive Reviews, 3 points for the first Positive Review and then 0.25 Points for each of the next 4 Positive Reviews.
1 point is available for reaching a target number of Positive Reviews based on 20% of the number of registered maximum number of service users. I couldn't be more appreciative of the diligence and care shown by staff to my grandmother who was a resident at the home. She died peacefully at the home, in accordance with her wishes and was provided with excellent care by all the staff but in particular two RN1s and a Senior Carer who looked after her so well. They were so sensitive in their treatment of her and us when we spent her last few days with her and couldn't have been more thoughtful.
Care homes get an awful lot of bad press sometimes and they deserve to be recognised for the great work they do.
Thank you so much for making my grandmother feel so comfortable and safe over the past few years but particularly over the last few days.
You made a difficult time that much easier for us all.
