Dad has been at Swallow's Meadow (Robin House) for several months and we cannot thank them enough. His care has been excellent and all of the staff are friendly and approachable and genuinely care for their patients. The staff make the time to speak with the families and get to understand their concerns, which gives you a sense of security and trust in leaving your loved one in their care. The entire place is spotlessly clean and the quality of the food has been very good.
Mum was cared for very well during her stay. Physio worked wonders with Mum's hip, getting her walking with aids in days.
In summary, highly recommended. Great job to all involved.
My mom moved in in June 2023, bed-bound - awful for her. What a fantastic place Swallows Meadow is. What a fantastic team you all are. All the activities team are great - lots going on all the time. Christmas has been fab too. Food great too.
My mother was a resident at Swallows Meadow Court for nearly 12 months. During that time I never had call to complain about any aspect of her care. The care and support shown to her was exceptional by every member of staff. Myself and my family cannot than them enough. I would recommend Swallows Meadow to anyone needing a nursing home for a family member.
Can't fault the care and kindness shown to my wife in the time she was there.
Our experience of this care home has been very good. Very helpful with all aspects of my wife's stay, keeping me well-informed.
My husband was admitted to Robin House, the care provided was excellent, kind, efficient and respectful and friendly. The physio team were very good, unfortunately my husband was unable to respond to the treatment, probably because he is already suffering with post polio syndrome.
The resident arrived and was really well looked after and had great care. Couldn't wish for anything better. Staff were brilliant and kept us informed at all times. Excellent. The resident said it was perfect.
The staff at Swallows Meadow Court were very kind and considerate with my husband and friendly and welcoming to our family and visitors. They kept us informed of all his medical progress and made sure that he looked clean and tidy. They tried hard to improve his strength and mobility and were able to advise us on our decision for his future care. He felt safe during his stay at Swallows Meadow Court.
My husband has spent three weeks in Swallows Meadow. The staff have been very friendly and caring. The home is very clean, also the meals very good.
Following a couple of months of rehabilitation in Nightingale, he is now walking with the aid of a zimmer and has gained a lot of his strength back. So much so that although he was happy there, he is now actually at a point where he is too well to be there and has been able to return to his previous residential home.
This was all thanks to both the nursing team and the physio team who were marvellous.
We have always found the home to be very clean, the rooms are very pleasant and the staff are attentive. There are plenty of activities arranged on a regular basis. We are very grateful to you all.
My stay at Swallows Meadow Court has been an eye opener, how hard the staff work, everyone - nurses, care assistants, cleaners and cooks have gone out of their way to help me and reassure me that I am doing well. Anything I needed has been provided for. I would like to give a special thanks to the head nurse who has explained things and helped me throughout my stay. Be thankful for the staff you have.
Helpful at all times we visited.
All-round good experience - well cared for and looked after. Improvement in outlook and health after time with you. Most satisfied with all received. Thank you very much.
All the staff in the home could not have given me better treatment; they were always friendly and kind. The nurses and physiotherapists could not have treated me better. Thank you.
Mother went into a shell of herself, and within two days, she was joining in with the activities, eating properly and getting out of her room. It's the best I have seen her for 3/4 months.
He went there from the hospital in really bad health; they said he was in end-of-life care.
With the care and love they gave my dad, he recovered enough to spend two yrs there. The staff was really caring and helpful while he was there and through the Covid period, helping sorting visit and keeping us informed on everything that was going on... sadly my dad passed, and the staff were so supportive... can't thank them enough. I would give them ten stars. Thank you to all the staff.
Unfortunately, Swallows Meadow cant take her permanently, otherwise, we would be happy for her to remain there.
Food and cleanliness were also of exceptionally good quality.
Hi, just a review to say thank you so much for looking after my wife. Can I say I am so impressed, but then, that is not a good enough word for the way you look after my wife. She was sent to Swallows Meadow on the 23rd of December from the hospital feeling very low and possibly thinking the whole world was against her, but the way she was welcomed and looked after was so once. Nothing was too hard for the staff;l they went out of their way to make sure she was welcomed and looked after. The last thing, the physios were excellent; they say she is now ready to come home and hopefully on the road to recovery. To say thank you is not enough; I have my wife back, and it's all down to you all.
