The Red House offers residential, nursing and dementia care in a homely setting where highly trained staff provide round-the-clock care tailored to resident's individual care needs.

Directions:

Travelling from the A1 take the A6121 Tinwell Road exit towards Stamford. Follow the A6121 through the town going straight on at the Scotgate traffic lights. After approximately half a mile turn left onto Conduit Road. Follow the road up the hill and straight on to Emlyns Street. The Red House Care Home is on the left.

I always find the staff very friendly and helpful and mum seems to be well looked after and pretty content at the home. The food is good she has commented on this and the staff are very patient with mum as she can be stubborn and uncooperative at times bless her. I would like to see more interactive time for the residents it makes me sad to see them just sitting around sleeping realise this can be hard and challenging. how about knitting mum loves it and ideal for just doing something while sitting down.

This place is extremely comfortable and clean. We are well looked after. We are well fed.

I am very pleased with the level of care my father received. The care, the staff are extremely hardworking and conscientiousness. Activities seem to be limited. The refurbishment was very much needed but it is appreciated by residents and family members.

I visit the above home to see my friend every two weeks. All the residents I see there are well fed and clean but there is very little mental stimulation, they just sit around mostly asleep, with the television going which no one is watching it is a very noisy atmosphere, there is no where to go, only your own room and patients with dementia are not kept separately and since the refurbishment the lounge area is very small and there is a very limited outdoor space for anyone to be outside in nice weather. My friend asked me last Friday if I had to go into a home would I go there, my answer was a definite no. I always find all the staff very good.

My sister and I were very impressed with the care and attention given to our Mother during her relatively short stay at The Red House. There is always a friendly face to greet you when you arrive. She always appeared to be well cared for and we never had cause to complain. The excellent care she was given when she was really poorly went far beyond what we expected. Keep up the good work and thanks to everyone concerned.
