My husband has been a resident on the Jade Unit since August 2023 he is well looked after and has all his nursing needs seen to on a daily basis. His room and facilities are lovely. All the staff are caring and treat the residents like they would their own families. The manager is easily approachable.
Cannot fault the care that he has received. The staff are so caring and patient with him. When we take him out, he can't wait to get back, which is wonderful for us to hear. He is so happy here. The staff have turned his life around. Thank you all so much.
All staff show a high level of care and genuinely do all they can for the residents. It is a lovely happy safe environment and I cannot express how happy we are with my sister's care.
My wife has been here for 3 months now and I am more than happy that her care and medical needs are met 24/7. She is very looked after here and this gives me reassurance when I leave that the carers make sure she is very well looked after.
Our experience over the past 15 years has been consistently satisfactory. The care provided has always been of a high and caring standard and our relationship with the management and staff has always been extremely good.
My experience of the home has been 10 out of 10. From the minute my son arrived - very friendly, and helpful. They look after my son very well. He has care 24/7 at the end of a buzzer. This gives me peace of mind. He is cared for all the time, I can't praise the home any more than I do.
The staff are friendly, nothing is too much trouble, very helpful. Always keep us up to date with how he is doing and passing positive feedback on how our son is doing. It is a pleasure to come to visit the home as the staff are so friendly and good to know that our son is in safe hands 24 hours a day.
My daughter is very well looked after and very happy living here.
Care family staff are always keen to help him, and enjoys their company.
Would recommend this home to anyone that is looking.
Staff, on the whole, are very good, with some exceptions regarding communication, some don't even acknowledge you! But that is a minority. I am more confident now with my son's care than I was a year ago - any issues I have are usually dealt with straight away.
My daughter has been living in Stocks Hall for four years after she had an infection. On her arrival, she was treated with such love and happiness from all staff and other residents. She is so happy and well cared for, which gives us peace of mind, knowing she is happy and settled. I would highly recommend the home to anybody - all staff are so helpful and friendly.
They are really looked after by all staff, there so polite.
Really pleased to go there.
Cannot fault the home and staff; they are looking after my son as if he is their own. They are friendly, professional, warm and caring. It is said that he has to be there, but I wouldn't wish for him to be anywhere else. Thank you very much, Stocks Hall; I can go to sleep at night knowing he is safe with you.
Whilst we cannot fully understand how hard it is for your son not to be living with you at home, we do appreciate, what it may feel like for you, and the...
Stocks Hall is a great care home. My mum has spent many years; I cannot fault a thing. The management and all the staff are amazing. I have never had to worry about my mum, as I know she’s always been in good hands. Her care has always been 100%; it’s like a home from home.

Excellent care provided for my brother since he had to go into the home with early-onset dementia. The atmosphere is welcoming, cheerful and warm with a family feel. Staff are cheerful and knowledgeable. They know their residents well.
It is reassuring to know that the atmosphere is encouraging and helpful to your brother and your family.
Thank you for your kind review regarding staff 'knowing' people living at the...
Stocks Hall Care Home is excellent especially the Amethyst Unit. The staff on that unit go above and beyond their duties. My sister has been there for nearly 12 years and I am proud to call the staff in that unit my extended family. I know I can rely on them to take care of my sister and they are there whenever I have needed them.
We are so pleased that during the last 12 years your sister has received excellent care and you can refer to them 'as your extended family'- that is how Care should be.
We are also delighted you have peace of mind...
