My husband has been living in the Bradbury Wing for five years now and I have found the care he has received during this time excellent. The nurses and carers are very professional, compassionate and I couldn't have wished for any better care for my husband, they are first-class at what they do. Not only have the nurses and carers been so supportive and caring towards my husband but they have also been a fabulous support to my family and myself also. The manager and deputy manager are so approachable and nothing is too much trouble. The manager and her amazing staff have made what seemed to me to be the impossible, actually possible. With their support we managed to get my husband home a number of times so he could be involved in very special family occasions and without their help and determination this would never have been possible. I feel truly blessed to have these special people in our lives.
This home has a positive atmosphere and is very patient/resident focused, they listen to families and friends and try to improve their quality of life in line with the capacities of the individual and the home's resources. Care appears to be very good, though it is sometimes a bit hard to keep up with the names of all the different agency staff.
Thank you so much for your kind words. The team at Bradbury Wing work very hard to support our residents and will be happy to hear their efforts are appreciated.
