I visited this Care Home last Tuesday afternoon to visit a friend. I was appalled by the treatment of one of the Staff to a resident. This resident was an elderly woman who was in need of going to the toilet. She had obviously been ringing for assistance. A member of staff stormed into the...
I visited this Care Home last Tuesday afternoon to visit a friend. I was appalled by the treatment of one of the Staff to a resident. This resident was an elderly woman who was in need of going to the toilet. She had obviously been ringing for assistance. A member of staff stormed into the residential sitting room and proceeded to yell and shout at this lady saying she needed to wait and stop being inconsiderate because she knew how busy the staff was. I mentioned to the staff member that if the lady needed the toilet it was something that she couldn't wait. The member of staff then turned to me and without lowering her voice proceeded to say there was 2 members of staff to look after 27 residents and they couldn't do everything. I did point out that that was something she needed to take up with management. It is certainly not the residents fault. I would hate to think that any relation of mine would go into this place
