Very hard-working staff. All staff members very approachable and pleasant. Managers are excellent both with residents and their families.

My mum came here when my dad went into the hospital, now dad is in here, so both are together. They are both so well looked after; the staff are friendly and very caring. Everyone is so helpful if we have a query, and the most important thing is, Mum and Dad are safe and cared for. We have been so lucky that both parents could come here and be together still as they are in their 90s now and married for 67-years, and it would have been awful to separate them now.

I cannot thank Oak Lodge enough for what they have done for my sister and myself. They are really great at informing you with information about my sister. They also understood how upset I was putting my sister in a home. I couldn't wish for a better home; thanks, Oak Lodge. All the staff are amazing, and my sister gets on well with everyone; I can't fault the home at all. All I can say is thank you, and your all amazing.

Care for my mother with her complex care needs is fantastic. The management knows my mum very, very well, which has been passed down to their team. Some of the results are based on not visited inside the home for a year due to Covid and are based on window visits/telephone calls. There is never a problem that is not discussed with me, and we are very happy with the care.

Throughout the past 12 months of Covid, I feel that they have coped extremely well. My mother looks well - age considering. Updated by telephone regularly about visits and treatment.

Our mum lived here for many years she was well looked after and cared for nothing was too much for the staff they gave mum love and plenty of laughs whatever mum wanted mum got she was a fussy eater and the girls always made her the meal she wanted. The place may look a bit shabby but it's home from home and it's a happy place since staff manager changed new manager is great and will bend over backwards for you

In my opinion my husband is always very well looked after, his medical needs are always attended to, he has an excellent room, with plenty of storage space, and adequate room to move around in comfortable surroundings he has made a lot of friends and gets on very well with all the staff.

My sister is a residential service user for whom I have power of attorney. She has been in Oak Lodge for 3+ years (Actual date was 25th of July 2012).
She now has come to a sad time in her life where by she isn't able to take part in any social activities. Her care in Oak Lodge is very good, in fact excellent. She is still able to converse a little bit but on the whole her health has deteriorated and is coming to and end.

I am pleased to say all the care is very much in place with her circumstances and for that I am thankful. All I need is for her to go peacefully and with dignity and I am very confident in her care for that to happen.
