Good = 4. Satisfactory = 3. Poor = 2. Very Poor = 1. These points are added up and then divided by the total number of completed ratings to generate the average rating.
The Average Rating of 3.478 for Windsor Care Home is calculated as follows: ( (11 Excellents x 5) + (4 Satisfactorys x 3) + (5 Poors x 2) + (3 Very Poors x 1) ) ÷ 23 Ratings = 3.478

If the target is partially reached then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Care Home with 50 registered maximum number of service users has a target of 10 Positive Reviews, if it has 10 or more Positive Reviews it will receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews will receive 0.7 points.
The 3.125 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for Windsor Care Home is based on 1 positive Reviews in the last 12 months and is calculated as follows:

Target of 8 positive Reviews (40 registered maximum number of service users ÷ 5). 1 Reviews ÷ 8 Target = 0.125

Very poor substandard care home. The carers are nice but unfortunately, the manager is a very cold and detached individual and does not interact with the residents.
I would not recommend this place if you are looking for stimulation for your parents as I think my mother has regressed since she came here and she is bored and unhappy. Very dated home too but is being refurbished which is well overdue.

My mother was a resident in the respite part of this care home. She was extremely well cared for by courteous and professional staff. The residents are treated with respect and more importantly as human beings. All the staff are caring, polite, professional and pleasant. Nothing is too much trouble. My mother could not have asked for better treatment.
