The Glenside Hospital and homes, in South Newton, are located off the A36 between Salisbury(Wilton) and Warminster, approximately 5 miles outside of Salisbury town centre. Accessible by taxi or bus from Salisbury central bus and train stations.
Visiting arrangements vary by unit/home/ward and are designed to be as flexible and family friendly as possible, whilst ensuring there is uninterrupted time for rehabilitation and care interventions. Where specific visiting times are in operation, such as the hospital, they will be displayed at the entrance to the unit. If people wish to visit outside of these stipulated times, then they can speak to the unit manager who will endeavour to be as flexible as possible.
