Since moving in our friend has settled in well and enjoys everything about Cuttlebrook Hall.
She is wonderfully cared for and the relief of knowing that 24 x 7 she is safe and very well looked after takes such a lot of stress and concern off her friends and family.
The staff at Cuttlebrook Hall are phenomenal! Professional, very, very kind and caring and considerate and I think this is the primary element that makes Cuttlebrook Hall excellent. The rooms and facilities are well designed and very pleasant to be in, both as a resident and as a visitor.
The caring and nurturing environment, together with great staff make Cuttlebrook Hall exemplary.

I feel happy and safe here. I am a long way from my daughter who lives in New Zealand, but we can talk and text and email any time. The staff are kind and treat all the residents with patience and consideration for their needs. I like it that I'm known by name by all the staff I meet in the home. I feel I can request for anything reasonable and that my needs will be attended to very promptly. Meals vary and I don't like some of the food by there's always a choice.

Mum has been living at Cuttlebrook Hall for a few months now and is extremely happy and settled. The home, its facilities and grounds are excellent but above all, it's the staff who make the place. They are all so incredibly kind and caring which results in a relaxed but nurturing atmosphere. Everyone is treated with dignity and respect and I feel as though our family has become part of this community, not just my mum.

Dad spent just over two weeks in Cuttlebrook Hall. The intention was to be there permanently but we had to remove him as he got quite distressed being away from his home and garden, therefore alternative plans are now in place. All the staff at Cuttlebrook go above and beyond and are extremely caring. Everyone worked hard with us to try and address Dad's concerns, but with short term memory issues, it was difficult. We will definitely consider Cuttlebrook should his needs change again in the future.

Dad has just had a second short stay for respite care following a fall that severely impaired his mobility. As before the staff were unfailingly kind and helpful. We were kept well informed about any issues affecting dad and we felt confident and reassured that he was in safe hands. Cuttlebrook provided a safe environment for dad to regain his mobility.

I felt confident in the preparation and delivery of his medication and regularity of his other needs.
Dad particularly liked the food, especially the breakfasts.
My only constructive feedback was that I did ask when we checked him in about arranging to get his daily newspaper, because this was important to him, and was told this would be possible, and I handed over his pre-paid vouchers to pay for these. Despite repeatedly raising this, this did not happen during his stay, which I felt lacked a little attention to detail that would have made a big difference to him. Hence 4 star rating in this review rather than 5 stars.
We are so pleased to hear that dad was treated with respect and dignity during his stay, that you found the team to be warm and friendly and had confidence in their abilities. The team pride themselves on...

Such a wonderful place. The staff are amazing and so calm and gentle with the residents. On my visits I am made to feel welcome and offered refreshments on my arrival. Have had lunch with my friend 3 times and on each time we were treated with nothing but kindness.
Wonderful help and service with all staff.

I think it's quite good. I feel it's a very good place.
It was my Mum's 97th birthday and I asked Cuttlebrook Hall if we could have a room to celebrate her birthday. We met with 20 of the family in the cinema room which they had decorated and laid on a small buffet and drinks. This meant such a lot to us as mum can't leave the home now. Excellent service and thank them very much.

From my first enquiry and initial visit, to Mum and Dad moving in, the whole process was professional and clearly explained. As soon as they arrived, they were treated with kindness and respect and I have been regularly updated on how they are settling in and their care plans. There are so many activities for them as a couple and as individuals, I am confident they can both get a lot out of their life at Cuttlebrook Hall. And the rooms are beautiful. Thank you!
The staff are dedicated, professional and infectiously positive. It is impossible not to smile when everyone is greeted personally and nothing appears too much trouble.
Mum has been welcomed into the Cuttlebrook community and her individual needs met in the very best way possible, and after only a very short while feels safe, is eating better and joining in a variety of activities!

Following a nasty infection, and worsening memory issues, my Dad moved to Cuttlebrook from hospital. The team couldn't have been more helpful, practical and kind. The overall atmosphere is very positive and the team work exceptionally hard for each resident.

Meet the Team (1)

I joined Care UK in May 2021 because I love their passion for residents and the training and support staff are provided.
I have management experience in both residential and nursing homes.
As a manager you need to be caring, have a great amount of patience and resilience to any obstacles that come up. It is important to have good communication with your team and show compassion to the people we provide care for.
My favourite part of each day is in the afternoon when everyone is calm and relaxed and I can take time to chat to residents and ask about their day.
