Friendly team members regularly teach activities including cooking, gardening and mindfulness techniques, and residents are encouraged to partake in gentle exercise where appropriate. State-of-the-art facilities include a specialist hydrotherapy pool, exercise studios, and a farmhouse kitchen. There is ample outdoor space for residents to enjoy, including an allotment, two putting greens and a greenhouse.

Expert care plans are tailored to each resident’s needs, with a compassionate understanding of their individual personality and background. In this way, residents can feel safe, comfortable and able to enjoy living their happiest, most fulfilled lives – which in turn affords their loved ones vital peace of mind.

First impressions are that the staff are all very welcoming and friendly. They go out of their way to ensure that new residents settle in quickly. The surroundings are lovely and it really doesn't feel like care home at all. The restaurant and catering facilities are excellent. The nursing team treat
residents with dignity and respect. They get to know resident and seem genuinely interested in the person and their life.

My Mum has been resident at the Broomfield Village Care Home for 3 weeks now. The experience has surpassed our greatest hope. It is such a beautifully designed home, with wonderful interior design. Every aspect of our dealings with the car home and staff have been fantastic. All the staff are lovely.
The care my Mum has received has been exemplary. The care home is like a five star hotel. It is a joy to visit my Mum. I can't imagine my Mum staying anywhere else. We feel very fortunate to have found such an exceptional place.

An imposing building, with a spacious entrance hall and reception. On arrival each time the welcome is warm and friendly.
The room my wife occupies is very comfortable and clean, with a fully equiped bathroom. There is ample storeage space for clothes etc. A door leads to a small patio with table and
chairs, and a newly planted garden which is well maintained.
There is a pleasant dining room with menus for lunch & supper changed daily with a "light bites" menu as an alternative. In addion a garden tea room is available.
The carers and other staff are friendly & efficient and ready to meet the various demands with a smile and warm words of comfort.

My mother stayed here for 6 weeks following a fall where she broke her upper arm.


I called the care home after an online search as the hospital were discharging her and I didn't feel confident she could return home on her own.


Following the call, the home sent someone to assess her in hospital

that afternoon and she moved in the next day, the home were extremely swift.


Having not visited the home before arriving with my mother we were both blown away by the wonderful interior design and welcome by the staff.


We were greeted by the head nurse carer whos experience shone through I was very reassured that she was going to be in good hands.


Subsequently this member of staff acted quickly when mum needed to return to a&e where a carer stayed with her the whole time.


The in house Physo helped her to recover. And the in house hair and nails made her feel her best.


The restaurant manager was excellent.


Every member of staff there is wonderful!!

A very good experience all round. Every member of staff always welcoming (most knowing my name), friendly, and very helpful. Nothing was ever too much trouble. I enjoyed the lunches I had with my husband and have made many new friends - both staff and residents.

I experienced from all staff members kindness and generosity. Everyone knew me by name & was very friendly, despite sometimes low staffing levels due to the Care Home's only recent opening. A very lovely atmosphere.

I moved into Broomfield village on the 9th of April 2025, from previous experience of being in hospital/care home settings, I have found this to be a completely new and comforting experience to the extent that I am oversleeping and the care team with their tolerance are having to give me a good shake
to fully awake me.
This is positive, as I have previously had difficulty sleeping. This is the first time for years that I have actually slept well. The maintenance and housekeeping team deserve credit for all they did to create the comfort, the care team for supporting my sleep, the support bed is second to none.

I cannot praise Broomfield Village highly enough. It is a beautiful space, warm and welcoming with a calm atmosphere.The rooms are spacious and comfortable and you are encouraged to personalise them to help the resident feel more at home. But more importantly, the staff are exceptional. So kind and
caring, they tailor their care to the individual. They are always available to discuss any concerns and give reassurance if needed. My mother has particularly enjoyed the food since being there. I have also been able to join her for some meals and can happily say the food is of an excellent quality. I now have peace of mind that my mother is in the best place possible and is receiving excellent all round care.

I must say, having read all the wonderful reviews i was sceptical when we arranged our initial visit. Its not often that you cant find fault now days. But, I have to agree with every review posted. There is very little I disagree with or in fact can add as everything has been covered in accurate detail.

The home looked like a 5 star hotel and provided an excellent level of personal service. Every member of staff was polite, professional and extremely helpful, nothing was too much for them. I was extremely pleased with the first class care that my brother received throughout his stay. Although on the
end of life care, he was happy, comfortable and very well cared for in his private room. Everyone there went above and beyond the call of duty to nurse and care for him throughout his stay. When sadly my brother passed away, every member of staff showed their respect by lining up as he was taken away on his final journey. I can't thank you enough for your kindness, care and professionalism.

From the moment the customer relationship manager welcomed us to Broomfield Village through to our mum's first week as a resident - we have been bowled over! Mum has 6 daughters & we have all been welcomed. Broomfield feels like home - it is warm and inclusive. The staff are professional & skilled and
yet relaxed and approachable. We love that there is an open invitation to eat with our mum & other residents, or to hang out in the beautiful coffee bar.
Mum has 15 great grandchildren so having the little kids area is inspired! And being able to watch a film together in the comfortable cinema room, with a bountiful supply of sweets, drinks & ice-creams from the "Sweet Shop" is magical! In just a week mum has had her hair & nails done, joined in gardening, baking, mini golf & music & movement!
The physical support given to mum for her care & mobility needs is fantastic, & given with dignity, kindness & respect.
We can relax in the knowledge that mum is very well looked after and her family is always made welcome.

The Broomfield village care home is outstanding. Most importantly the team are absolutely brilliant, they are friendly, helpful, caring and are highly trained and qualified staff. When looking for a care home there were none comparable. It is also of note that community links have been forged prior
to the opening of the facility and that organisations are starting to come to sessions on site and residents are having visits to groups and facilities off site. My stepfather is very happy and well cared for and has enjoyed all the opportunities that he has been offered, including trips out and being able to cut the ribbon on the grand opening launch of Broomfield. I have seen a remarkable transformation in his well-being. He loves the food and the pampering as well as the superb care that he is given. Regular news is also easily accessible via a family App and this helps you to feel connected to your loved one and involved in their welfare.

Our first visit to Broomfield Village Care Home was overwhelming.
The decor and ambience in the home are equivalent to a top-of-the-range, five-star hotel.
The residents' rooms are very roomy and well laid out, the facilities in the home are numerous and of high quality.
The staff are, without exception,
professional, friendly and extremely helpful.
The food is also of a very high quality with a varied menu.

Simply the best.
We spent a long time researching and visiting luxury care homes, we even used respite periods to really see if these other homes lived up to our high expectations in all areas.
Only Broomfield Village Care Home ticked all the boxes.
The care, staff and management in all departments
are helpful, professional, knowledgeable and approachable, they all treat Mum with dignity, allowing her to help herself and stepping in when they see she needs some encouragement or guidance.
Broomfield is a luxurious family community of the highest standards.
The building is designed to create an environment that's welcoming to all residents and their families, including children.
When visiting, we often stay for lunch, free of charge, with Mum, like a family should (most homes do not allow this). There are many free extras, like hairdresser, chiropody, sweet/ice cream shop, toy/play area, cafes, cinema.
Broomfield updates us using an app. They post photos/videos daily and send messages to keep us involved and informed.

Walking into Broomfield Village Care Home felt like I was walking into a five-star hotel. Beautifully decorated and a warm welcome. The staff there are fantastic. Smiley, talkative, caring and attentive without being in the slightest bit patronising. The facilities are second to none with great extra
touches put in, like a sweet shop, kids area and cinema. The food was outstanding. I left feeling that my grandmother was being taken great care of in a place she'd be comfortable and happy to be.

It's really early days for Broomfield Village Care Home having only opened this month. Mum took up residence last week as only the third resident, so we await the arrival of many more residents for Mum to bond with. The level of care received, so far, is beyond expectations and how they can achieve
this in line with what can only be described as five-star hotel luxury is just mind-blowing.
The facilities are amazing, from the lounges, the salon, the cinema, the children's area, the sweet shop to the putting green, the garden room, the arts and crafts room - even a radio station room! The food is of fine dining quality - all produced on the premises - even the bread and cakes and Mum is very happy to enjoy a glass of wine with her meals. The carers and staff have made every effort to get to know Mum and how to handle her little foibles. I can't fault the non-patronising care given by each and every person. I look forward to Broomfield Village becoming a thriving village of its own within the community.
