Hello, my name is Linda, and I am the Home Manager here at Elizabeth Gardens.
With 29 years of experience in the private care home sector, I am a qualified nurse with a valid PIN and a lifelong passion for delivering exceptional, person-centred care. My approach focuses on supporting residents to live as independently and meaningfully as possible, encouraging them to continue enjoying their hobbies, social lives and personal interests with the right level of support.
Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of managing a large and diverse care community of over 150 residents and more than 160 dedicated staff. This experience has deepened my commitment to creating environments where both residents and staff feel valued, supported, and empowered.
As I step into my role at Elizabeth Gardens, I am excited to lead the commissioning of this new home with a strong focus on building a passionate, compassionate and highly skilled team. Together, we will deliver holistic and personalised care that prioritises dignity, wellbeing and community engagement.
I believe a care home should be at the heart of its local community. That’s why I am committed to building meaningful connections with local clubs, services and organisations, bringing the community into our home and creating a vibrant, inclusive environment for everyone.
At Elizabeth Gardens, my goal is to foster a culture where residents feel at home, families feel reassured and staff feel inspired.
Hello, my name is Christina, and I am the Deputy Home Manager here at Elizabeth Gardens.
Originally from the Philippines, I started my care journey as a student nurse after moving to the UK. I began working in a care home and quickly discovered a passion for working in the senior care sector. I find the work I do incredibly rewarding and take pride in making a positive difference in people's lives.
Outside of work, I enjoy relaxing by watching a good Netflix series after a busy day. I am a devoted mum of four, so my free time often involves preparing meals and caring for my family, although I do love the occasional meal out!
I am thrilled to be part of the team at Elizabeth Gardens and am excited to support the commissioning of this new home. I am looking forward to helping build a dedicated, compassionate team dedicated to delivering outstanding care.
Hello, my name is Kelly, and I am the Home Administrator here at Elizabeth Gardens.
Since joining the care industry in 2022, I’ve brought both personal and professional passion to every role I’ve taken on. With a background rooted in real-life experience and genuine empathy, I’m committed to delivering high-quality, person-centred support to individuals in need.
I understand that behind every care plan is a unique story, and I strive to make meaningful connections with residents, families and colleagues alike. Naturally confident and gregarious, I create a warm, welcoming atmosphere that helps others feel at ease.
In my approach to administration, I combine emotional intelligence with strong organisational skills, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations while supporting the wellbeing of both staff and residents. At Elizabeth Gardens, my goal is not only to meet expectations, but to contribute to a compassionate and efficient environment where everyone feels valued.
Hello, my name is Gemma, and I am the Client Services Manager here at Elizabeth Gardens.
With over 9 years of experience as a Customer Service Manager in a care home setting, I bring a strong background in delivering exceptional service with compassion and empathy. My career began in retail as a Department Manager at House of Fraser, where I developed a strong foundation in customer care and team leadership. Alongside this, I also trained as a hair and make-up stylist and spent time working in a photography studio, creating makeovers and helping people feel their best.
My passion for customer service was instilled in me from a young age by my parents, who taught me the true value of making others feel special. While I remain proud of my qualifications in styling, my heart truly lies in supporting older people.
Helping individuals find their forever home, a place where they can thrive, enjoy life to the fullest and continue to chase their dreams is what drives me every day. One of my most treasured memories is helping a 94-year-old resident experience her very first flight. Her joy and excitement reminded me that it’s never too late to live fully or to make dreams come true.
I believe in creating meaningful moments, building trust with families and ensuring every resident feels valued, respected and truly at home.
I look forward to welcoming you to Elizabeth Gardens soon.
Hello, my name is Kelly, and I am the Residential Care Manager here at Elizabeth Gardens.
My passion for care began when I cared for my nan. I started my career as a carer and worked my way up through the ranks, eventually becoming a deputy manager. My drive comes from a deep commitment to making a difference in people's lives and ensuring everything is done with compassion, kindness and the highest standards of care.
When I'm not at work, I enjoy spending time with my family, taking my dogs for a walk and getting creative - I love crafting!

Hello, my name is Karen, and I am the Residential Dementia Care Manager here at Elizabeth Gardens.
My passion for dementia care came about at 14 years old when I saw the lack of support available for my grandparents during their time of need. From that moment, I knew I wanted to do something that would make a difference in the lives of those living with dementia, and I have been trying to do so ever since! I have been dedicated to the care sector since leaving school and have a Master's in Dementia Studies.
For me, care is about the little things that make a big impact, whether that be a reassuring presence or a passing smile. I am deeply committed to supporting the most vulnerable individuals in our society, and I believe there is no better feeling than knowing you have made somebody's day a bit brighter.
Outside of work, I lead a full and active life. I am a big sports enthusiast, and I love both netball and football. I am also a qualified England netball umpire! When I am not on the court or pitch, I enjoy spending quality time with my family and friends.
I am thrilled to be part of the Elizabeth Gardens team, and I am excited to bring my expertise to this new home so we can provide a truly person-centred approach to care.
Hello, my name is Snezana, and I am the Head of Housekeeping here at Elizabeth Gardens.
I have a long-standing career in housekeeping, having worked in various locations, from hotels to hospitals. I found my way into the care sector because I love being responsible for the well-being of others, meeting new people and spreading positive energy wherever I go. I love a cheeky joke and a good laugh!
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends and indulging in a spot of retail therapy! When I am really looking to relax, I like to jet off to new places - if you can't find me, chances are I'm off on another adventure!
Hello, my name is Szabolcs, or Sabi, and I am the Head Chef here at Elizabeth Gardens.

Hello, my name is Maddie, and I am the Home Trainer here at Elizabeth Gardens.
Many of my family members work in care as nurses, so care is truly in my blood! I began my career straight from school, eventually becoming a regional trainer. I have a passion for working closely with people, so whether I'm delivering training to our team or spending time with our residents, I love building relationships and creating a positive, meaningful relationship with everybody I interact with.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending quality time with my family, walking my three Labradors, cooking and baking. I also recently got engaged, so now much of my time will go to planning my wedding!
I am excited to be part of the Elizabeth Gardens family and look forward to sharing my knowledge with a supportive team, learning new skills and helping others grow.
Hello, my name is Kay, and I am the Activities and Wellbeing Coordinator at Elizabeth Gardens.
I first stepped into the care sector providing maternity cover, and I never looked back! For me, the best part of the job is the fun that comes with it. Whether leading a singalong, organising a quiz or hunting down a new game for our residents to enjoy, there is always a spark of joy in my day and what I do.
Outside of work, I volunteer with my local Girl Guides, sing in a community choir and get crafty; my favourite artistic method is pyrography, which is where you burn artwork into wood! I also often spend my weekends scouring charity shops for interesting puzzles to bring back to work with me.
I am thoroughly looking forward to meeting our new residents and finding out what brings joy to their lives.
