Job Title: Home Manager

Hello, my name is Linda, and I am the Home Manager here at Elizabeth Gardens.

With 29 years of experience in the private care home sector, I am a qualified nurse with a valid PIN and a lifelong passion for delivering exceptional, person-centred care. My approach focuses on supporting residents to live as independently and meaningfully as possible, encouraging them to continue enjoying their hobbies, social lives and personal interests with the right level of support.

Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of managing a large and diverse care community of over 150 residents and more than 160 dedicated staff. This experience has deepened my commitment to creating environments where both residents and staff feel valued, supported, and empowered.

As I step into my role at Elizabeth Gardens, I am excited to lead the commissioning of this new home with a strong focus on building a passionate, compassionate and highly skilled team. Together, we will deliver holistic and personalised care that prioritises dignity, wellbeing and community engagement.

I believe a care home should be at the heart of its local community. That’s why I am committed to building meaningful connections with local clubs, services and organisations, bringing the community into our home and creating a vibrant, inclusive environment for everyone.

At Elizabeth Gardens, my goal is to foster a culture where residents feel at home, families feel reassured and staff feel inspired.

Job Title: Client Services Manager

Hello, my name is Gemma, and I am the Client Services Manager here at Elizabeth Gardens.

With over 9 years of experience as a Customer Service Manager in a care home setting, I bring a strong background in delivering exceptional service with compassion and empathy. My career began in retail as a Department Manager at House of Fraser, where I developed a strong foundation in customer care and team leadership. Alongside this, I also trained as a hair and make-up stylist and spent time working in a photography studio, creating makeovers and helping people feel their best.

My passion for customer service was instilled in me from a young age by my parents, who taught me the true value of making others feel special. While I remain proud of my qualifications in styling, my heart truly lies in supporting older people.

Helping individuals find their forever home, a place where they can thrive, enjoy life to the fullest and continue to chase their dreams is what drives me every day. One of my most treasured memories is helping a 94-year-old resident experience her very first flight. Her joy and excitement reminded me that it’s never too late to live fully or to make dreams come true.

I believe in creating meaningful moments, building trust with families and ensuring every resident feels valued, respected and truly at home.

I look forward to welcoming you to Elizabeth Gardens soon.
