Generally, we are pleased with the care and facilities that Mom receives. Some concerns when I have been with her one being she wanted the toilet but was told to wait until food was served at 5 pm, some 40 mins later she was attended to. Personally, I think the care home is understaffed. The staff here work hard and are caring in their approach to residents. I feel that they are underappreciated by top management, more staff is required.
I appreciate your kind words about the dedication and care provided by our staff, as well as your recognition of their hard work and caring approach. Our team is committed to ensuring the well-being and comfort of all our residents, and it means a great deal to hear your positive acknowledgement. I...
My husband dances with the staff and wouldn't with me when we married. I can't say how grateful me and my family are for how well he's taken care of. Everyone here is like family, he loves all the ladies like they are his girls. We know how bad some places are. We have the gold star home for my husband. Thank you all for the way you take care of our beloved old grump.
Thank you so much for such a lovely feedback. We really appreciate it. I'm glad to learn that you feel very happy with everything the staff is doing to look after your husband. If we can do anything more to enhance his stay, please feel free to get in touch with me. I will pass on your appreciation to the team. Once again thank you so much.
All the staff are fabulous, they go above and beyond. Nothing is too much trouble for anyone. The activities are great. Staff make sure everyone joins in if they can. Always something going on. Thanks so much to everyone.

A wonderful home is truly a place where you can leave a loved one knowing that they're being cared for in every way by a wonderful group of people. My dad has been a resident here for almost a year now and I can wholeheartedly say that he is given exceptional care by members of staff who really do care. The home is always clean and tidy and most importantly safe and secure which means that its residents are able to roam around their unit without the worry of getting lost or falling. I am beyond happy with the standard of care provided and am so grateful to each and every individual who works around the clock to provide it. Staff are always welcoming and cheery often singing and dancing along with residents making sure the best time is had by all. Really and truly a 10/10 facility.
Thank you so much for taking the time to post such a wonderful review. It is an absolute joy to learn that you feel very satisfied with your dad's care, the staff's awareness of your dad's needs, the welcoming atmosphere, the cleanliness and the responsiveness of the team. My dad has only been here 4 days but has settled in so well. We have visited several times already and when we arrived, he was sitting in the main area with others, looking smart, clean and happy. Staff seem wonderful and so caring. His room is spotless and love the flowers outside the window.

My mother was only at Oakview care home for a month having moved from one further away. She unfortunately died on Tuesday in her sleep. The staff have been fantastic with Mum. She died of Alzheimers Dementia so communication was challenging for the staff but they showed they had genuine commitment to providing care with empathy, sensitivity and good humour. On the morning of Mum's death I was supported emotionally by the care staff and informed of the next steps with practicality and understanding for which I will be eternally grateful. My only regret is that I wish we had got to Oakview earlier.
I am deeply sorry about the passing of your mother. Please accept my heartfelt condolences during this difficult time. Thank you so much for your kind words about the care she received at Oakview.
