Oakview Care Home provides care to older people who need full time nursing or residential care, including dementia.

There are four spacious specialist units each with its own lounge, dining facilities.

The core values of the home - Compassion, Respect and Responsibility, resonate strongly throughout the home.

Residents are encouraged to be as independent as possible and their needs, wishes and culture requirements are put first. A person-centred care plan is built around each resident.

Kitchen staff prepare breakfasts, lunch with homemade soups and selection of sandwiches or warm lunches, and evening meals are outsourced and prepared and delivered by Apetito and full of nutrients. Residents have a choice to choose off menu daily.

Oakview care have now completed renovations, going from a 72 bed to a 97 bed home. Lovely gardens have been added, as well as a balcony on the nursing Dementia unit where Residents and families can sit out and enjoy the lovely outdoors.
There is a new hairdressers room built for residents to enjoy every Monday, to sit and relax whilst having their hair done.

The care home is very clean and the staff are very pleasant. My mom is being cared for on Beeches and I am very pleased with her care. The staff will go above and beyond to help and are always on hand if I have any questions.

My mother was only at Oakview care home for a month having moved from one further away. She unfortunately died on Tuesday in her sleep. The staff have been fantastic with Mum. She died of Alzheimers Dementia so communication was challenging for the staff but they showed they had genuine commitment to
providing care with empathy, sensitivity and good humour. On the morning of Mum's death I was supported emotionally by the care staff and informed of the next steps with practicality and understanding for which I will be eternally grateful. My only regret is that I wish we had got to Oakview earlier.

We are really pleased with the care that our mum receives. The staff are very welcoming, friendly, approachable and they offer a fantastic care environment. The home is very clean and spacious. It is very reassuring to our family that our mum is getting the care above and beyond! Beach unit is excellent.

This is my second time visiting the care home. The staff were welcoming and friendly. The home is always clean and bright. My grandad always seems happy to be here and is well cared for. The staff are happy to help and my grandad loves to talk to them.

Beech Unit- I feel my friend is well cared for by compassionate staff. Two particular staff members are amazing at everything they do, always thinking of activities to occupy the residents.

The care home is always welcoming and very clean. The staff are so lovely and caring to the residents. Staff are always around if you ever need anything. Units are always lively with music or activities, such a lovely care home. Would highly recommend it.

Wonderful home. The staff in the Beech Unit are excellent, really good relationship. They look after my dad so well and we relay information about him together. Activitities are catered for residents' needs. I'm happy he is here.

I am really happy where my nan is being cared for. The staff are very helpful, kind and friendly. The environment is very clean. Rooms are spacious. I would highly recommend this care home. My nan is currently in the Beeches Unit which is excellent.

All of the staff that look after our mother are caring and thoughtful. Everyone is treated with dignity. All of the rooms are clean and tidy and well looked after.

Wonderful staff on Beech Unit - create homely family atmosphere. Mum is safe and happy and loves the trips to the park ad the singing and dancing which the team provide.

Just to say that we had a fantastic time for my mom and dad's 40th Wedding Anniversary party on Beech. The staff were absolutely fantastic, as well. All the residents really enjoyed it too, and the food was really brilliant as well.
And I would like to say a very big thank you, all the family were

Grandparents Ruby wedding. Staff were amazing. Very friendly and helpful. Very kind to all residents and non-residents was great to see so many people enjoying themselves. Can't rate them highly enough!

It was mine and my husband's 40th anniversary. We had a party for family and friends and residents. It went very well. The weather was good, the staff were brilliant. We had a wonderful day, my son and his wife who are singers provided the entertainment. My husband who had a stroke and cannot communicate
very well had a wonderful time. Cannot praise the staff enough for the day.

I will be eternally grateful to Oakview and all their amazing staff. My dad passed away peacefully under the loving care and kindness of Oakview. As a family we were able to stay the night before he passed, laugh around his bed, tell him how much we all loved him and he had no pain and was cared for
with such kindness and dignity until he passed. Thank you for giving us peace of mind with our loss.
