I'm still in the same predicament as before bad food bad accommodation and bad staff. An interview with my social worker and manager of Ashurst Lodge and girlfriend where I was told I could have certain items (including whole milk) was not given for the last week and a half while the manager was away for a month as I was told. Bad home for vulnerable people.

We are sorry to hear you continue to feel unhappy with elements of the service at Ashurst Lodge. With regard to the milk: whole milk is provided as an extra item and is not included as part of your standard care plan. Semi-skimmed milk was ordered and delivered through the weekly shop. When this was offered to you, it was refused in favour of whole milk. You were informed that whole milk would be included in the next weekly shop on Saturday. You receive your own benefits and personal finances, which can be used for any additional items or preferences you may have. Regarding the food: you regularly eat all meals provided by the home and also take additional extras, which you store in your own fridge. Staff actively accommodate your requests and prepare alternative options when you report difficulties eating certain items (such as chips or pizza) due to dental issues. Should you prefer different meals, your personal benefits are available to purchase additional items of your choice.
