I visited my grandmother here and was so happy with how well she looked. The staff were kind, caring, and friendly. The food was good, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the care was excellent. The manager was helpful and supportive. I felt reassured knowing my grandmother is safe and happy here.
Highly recommended.

From the moment I arrive at Pranam Care Center I know it was the right place for my friend. The warm welcome I received was heartfelt. The home provides outstanding care administer by an excellent management team complemented by very professional team leads and carers. Without exception the staff
are kind, considerate and caring to both residents, family members and visitors alike. Nothing seems too much trouble to them. This makes me very happy knowing that friend and families can now relax knowing that my friend is in safe hands and receiving the best care that seems impossible to cope with at home. There is a very varied menu with excellent food and good activities provided. The home is warm, clean and cosy and the residents seems very happy to be there. I would highly recommend it.

I recently had the pleasure of experiencing the care and support provided by Pranam, and I cannot speak highly enough of the team and environment they have created.

From the moment you walk in, there is a warm, welcoming atmosphere that immediately puts both residents and visitors at ease. The staff

I would like to express my sincere appreciation for the outstanding care provided to my uncle at Pranam Care Home. From the moment we interacted with the team, it was clear that the staff is deeply committed to providing compassionate, respectful, and person-centered care.

The carers are incredibly

attentive, patient, and professional. They treat residents with dignity and kindness, ensuring that their individual needs are always met. It is reassuring to see how much effort the team puts into creating a safe, comfortable, and supportive environment for everyone in their care.

Communication with families is also excellent. The staff keep relatives informed and are always approachable, which brings great peace of mind knowing that loved ones are in such capable hands.

The home itself is clean, welcoming, and well managed, and it is evident that the well-being and happiness of residents is a top priority.

Since my aunt came here as a resident I have noticed such an improvement not only in her physical abilities but also her mental health. She is looking much brighter and focused. Her engagement with the other residents and staff has allowed her to want to read and complete her puzzle books. Her appetite
has also improved, which is wonderful, seeing her tucking into the very good food, which is provided. She is so much happier. Thank you very much.

Mum has been in Pranam for the past 4-and-a-half years. Mum had dementia and could no longer walk or talk. Every time I visited her she was always clean and well kept. Her room was spotless. All the carers were always smiling and easy to talk to. They always spoke to Mum when they came into her room.
The food always looked nice. I have never had any problems with Mum's care. Sadly Mum passed away, manager and staff could not have been more supportive at this sad time.

I visited Pranam Care Centre on the 21st and 22nd of October. I was not expected. I found my cousin to be happy and feeling very much at home. Her clothes were immaculate and her hair was carefully attended to. There was an aura of friendliness about the home and I came away assured that my cousin was

My ex-husband has lived in the Care home for over 2 years now. I am very pleased with the care he is receiving. The environment is very clean including his room. His clothes are always washed, ironed and nicely hung in his wardrobe. The staff are very friendly and always act quickly to any health concerns
by contacting the GP or calling the Ambulance and am always contacted in such circumstances and regularly updated. He is supported to attend all hospital appointments. He is very happy living in the care home and this gives me peace of mind too. Well done to a very committed team.

My brother was a resident since 2020 and was looked after by the staff extremely well. He unfortunately passed away, but he was made comfortable all
the time he was there. He was also a resident there all through the pandemic and the staff had to look after the residents in very difficult times.

I accompanied my friend to a care home where her mother resides, and I was truly impressed by the compassionate care provided. One standout individual,
the team leader, interacted with residents as if they were her own family members. Witnessing her feed one of the residents filled me with joy. The
environment was not only welcoming but also impeccably clean. The spacious rooms were well-maintained, and the carers displayed exceptional kindness.

Hardworking and caring staff. Will always listen and try to rectify a problem if there is one. The rooms are spacious and clean. Dad says the food is very good! Dad seems less anxious and I am able to get clearer conversations from him since he is been here, so obviously him being at Pranam Care Centre
has done him good.
To the managers, team leader, health care assistants, and activity coordinator a huge thank you to all that have helped him since the start of his stay in September.

It seemed a nice, lovely place, my dad just did not like it. He has dementia, so they have to be extra understanding and patient.
The other things I did not like were the staff not relaying problems to the manager and talking in front of clients. Also, the manager told me to contact a social worker
so they can get paid.

Current Review Score: 9.7 (9.727)

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 9.7 (9.727) out of 10 for Pranam Care Centre is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  1. The Average Rating is 4.8 out of 5 from 16 Reviews in the last 24 months.
  2. The score for the number of positive Reviews is 4.9 out of 5 from 16 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Care Home is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 4.827 for Pranam Care Centre is calculated as follows: ( (160 Excellents x 5) + (29 Goods x 4) + (2 Satisfactorys x 3) ) ÷ 191 Ratings = 4.827
  2. 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5'). The 4.9 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for Pranam Care Centre is based on 16 positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as per below:

The 5 points available are broken down as follows:

    1. 4 points are available for the first 20 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months; 3 points for the first Positive Review, 0.125 Points for each of the next four Positive Reviews, 0.05 Points for the next five Positive Reviews, and finally 0.025 Points for the next ten Positive Reviews. (1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.050, 7th = 0.050, 8th = 0.050, 9th = 0.050, 10th = 0.050, 11th = 0.025, 12th = 0.025, 13th = 0.025, 14th = 0.025, 15th = 0.025, 16th = 0.025, 17th = 0.025, 18th = 0.025, 19th = 0.025, 20th = 0.025) 3 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 = 3.9
    2. 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the registered maximum number of service users in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Care Home registered for a maximum of 50 service users has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 51 registered maximum number of service users is 10.2, which has been reached with 16 Positive reviews. Points = 1
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Care Home does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
