Ascot Grange Care Home - Avery Collection

My parents moved into Ascot Grange Feb 2026, they immediately felt welcomed and well looked after. My mum unfortunately passed away in the July which was expected. The palatine care team were amazing, they made a very difficult time go smoothly with gentle care and compassion for my mother and all of our family. Dad remains at Ascot Lodge and they have bent over backwards helping him adjust and get used to his new normal! The team are always kind and helpful to residents and try their upmost to keep them safe and well entertained.

Mum was a resident of Ascot Grange from October 2024 to April 2026 having been diagnosed with Alzheimer's. During that time mum really came out of her shell and was the happiest we have seen her in a long time. That was due to the unbelievable care she was given, engaging her in activities that she would not normally do but she enjoyed doing. Our last proper conversation, she said "I am so happy here"

A friendly facility with a lot of activities each day. Catering was excellent and staff were on hand. the timetable was OK but there were gaps. Overall a first rate Experience which I enjoyed.

Very good service, food excellent. Hospitality fabulous, activities were good and I enjoyed them. Good value for money. Terrific. Some excellent staff. Both Jane & Rob from activities are fantastic.

Following an absolutely horrendous experience at another local care home, we moved my dear friend to Ascot Grange. From the start the welcome was so warm, human, real and compassionate. The receptionist gave the best impression as she smiled warmly! Then came the manager, Rhian. Efficient, knowledgeable and honest who could ask for more? No one is perfect, and life is a journey of improvement. At every turn when things weren't quite as they needed to be, everyone pulled together to work as a team. Not once did we find the teams unapproachable, and always a solution was found. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend Ascot Grange and will be back for respite as needed. I'll miss some of the lovely other residents too who always made you smile. It's not easy getting older, and it's a real vocation to work in this area. Much credit to all those of you who truly care. It matters and it means a lot.

The facilities are very good, modern and airy. Parking to visit was sometimes a challenge but something was usually available. Food and activities all seemed to be high class but mum did not make much use of them. Most importantly the staff, carers, nurses and management were available, kind and supportive. A great choice for mum.

I would highly recommend Ascot Grange to anyone looking for a care home

Having lost my Mum to Alzheimers in 2021, my Dad moved to Ascot Grange by choice in March 2022, foreseeing the additional care that he would need in future years despite being an 'Assisted Living' resident initially. I have to say that in the last four years of his life here (aged 97), he really enjoyed his time in the company of all the residents and the Care Team and regularly participated in the various activities, whether it be exercise, shopping trips, other outings or resident committee meetings. From what we witnessed, especially in his final years, the care and dedication shown to all the residents by the Ascot Grange Team was of the highest standard and having viewed many of the Care facilities in the local area prior to choosing Ascot Grange, we have no doubt that the 'hotel-like' ambience, general look-and-feel, and staff dedication to residents, helps it stand 'head and shoulders' above others. Highly recommended by all our family who had the privilege of visiting Dad here.

After looking at 5 others in the area we literally burst into tears when we walked in to Ascot Grange. The greeting, overall look and the demeanour of the residents was incredible. We were looking for a Care Home that would take and be suitable for both my parents, Ascot Grange was head and shoulders above anything else we had seen.

My parents have been there 9 months now and the only thing I can add is that it was 100% the right move! Dad was 3 months bed bound before he moved in and for the last 7 months he has been moved into a wheelchair and joined his wife and other residents for meals and activities, nothing short of incredible! The staff are angels, patience of saints, smiles of masterpieces and hearts of pure gold, they are truly remarkable and have now become part of our family and we of the home's. Visiting is a joyous and enjoyable time, plenty of social or private areas for us to use whilst enjoying a drink and cake in the company of our loved ones.

My father stayed in Ascot Grange for 7 weeks. All aspects of his and the family's experience was first class. The staff are quite excellent always placing the needs of the resident at the forefront of what they do. Our experience of the clinical nursing care was most impressive and professional. The staff not only provided the full range of care to my father but also found time to provide the family support-we never once visited without being offered hospitality. My father did not (his choice) take part in the various activities on offer (which looked very impressive) but he certainly enjoyed the excellent food that he chose to eat in his room. His room was excellent and more akin to a hotel suite. His bespoke care and clinical needs were met by the Home, such as an air mattress and a bed extension, without delay or prevarication. Perhaps this special place can be summed up by the simple fact that on entering the building it feels more like a friendly boutique hotel than a Care Home. We were very pleased that my father was able to spend his last days in such a caring and happy environment.

Your palliative care is fantastic and can not be beaten. My sister in law was only with you for a short time, but her whole family were supported by everyone. The management, care team, hospitality staff and reception could not have been more supportive. Thank you all. We would recommend your lovely home to anyone that we know for nursing or supported living.

My mum was cared for with compassion and sensitivity by the kindest group of people I have ever met. They work brilliantly as a team, and that includes cleaning, catering and maintenance. They adapt to individual needs, staff always greeted us every time we met. The environment is warm and secure. I would highly recommend Ascot Grange Care Home.

I cannot overestimate the excellent care and professional help that my wife received at Ascot Grange. A very big thank you to all the wonderful staff. Especially, Mark, Gill, Ellen, and Irene - they really saved my wife's life after her horrible experience at the hospital.

My mother received excellent care during her 2 week respite care. The communication beforehand and during her stay was really good. I really felt the staff made every effort to get to know mum and make her stay as comfortable as possible.

My husband has had respite breaks at Ascot Grange during 2024/25. On this latest stay, staff greeted us in a very friendly manner, remembering his name and making us feel welcome. His room was spacious and spotless with snacks provided, plus juices, tea and coffee in the kitchenette space which has been in all his rooms. Staff checked in on all his requirements, offered us a delicious lunch and help unloading all his belongings.

Walking into Ascot Grange is like stepping into a warm bath. My Mum moved in for respite care but, sadly, was far sicker than we all realised and passed away a couple of weeks later. The staff were absolutely wonderful. From the moment we arrived, right through to the very end, they couldn't do enough for Mum or the family and all done very professionally, with a friendly smile and a hug when needed. Nothing was too much trouble. The lovely surroundings helped too, Mum's room was so comfortable and everything was of such good quality while retaining a homely feel. I just wish she could have moved in a little earlier, I'm convinced she would have enjoyed the atmosphere, facilities and food.
