An exciting and rare opportunity has been presented to me to assist an exceptional client with finding them an experienced Nurse Manager to take over a large home in the Chorley area. The home in question has excellent, solid staffing levels and also benefits further by the fact that staff have been loyal and in post for a long period of time - If there is one point worth mentioning it is that the staff are in need of direction in guiding their enthusiasm along a clearly defined and pre-planned course of action to add a little 'spit and polish' to this home. In point, this home is not a 'poisoned chalice' and does not need a big shake up, just a little TLC from an enthusiastic leader.
As a potential applicant for this post you will need to carry current NMC registration as a Nurse and have a minimum of 5 years experience of managing a larger home, you will also have a passionate, committed approach to your duty of care whilst instilling a sense of pride and loyalty that evokes staff at all levels to sing from the same 'Hymn Sheet' and enjoy their roles as care professionals.
The lady responsible for interviewing for this post is very much 'hands on' and as such understands better than most people what is needed for a happy contented ship, she is super supportive of the people she works with and a genuinely nice person to boot. My client is happy to allow a potential Manager to visit the home and take stock of the potential task at hand.
