You will play an essential part in supporting the well-being and quality of life of each individual in your care.
Linden House is a Victorian House that has been carefully converted to provide a first-class service. It is situated close to the Downs and has picturesque gardens that provide a comfortable and relaxing environment.
We are looking for exceptional individuals with the right attitude, skills and knowledge who share our passion to deliver the best quality care experience. We have a fantastic opportunity for an Activities Coordinator; you will be responsible for planning and implementing the activities that are appropriate to the Service Users needs and requests.
The main responsibilities of the job include:
Help Service Users to socialize with the Care Centre and provide a variety of activities that cater for all tastes.
Plan and initiate monthly rolling/individual programs, and encourage Service Users to maintain preexisting hobbies.
Encourage Staff Members, Relatives and Friends to participate in the activities.
Help to create an atmosphere that suits individual Service Users within the Care Centre.
Assist with fund raising and budgeting for entertainments, materials and outings.
Have a Friendly, creative and confident personality.
Have good communication and organizational skills.
Have Satisfactory Policy Check and check against the PoVA list.
Need to be able to work on their own initiative and be a team player.
Previous experience is preferred for this role.
Qualification in remedial/occupation therapies
