You will play an essential part in supporting the well-being and quality of life of each individual in your care.

Linden House is a Victorian House that has been carefully converted to provide a first-class service. It is situated close to the Downs and has picturesque gardens that provide a comfortable and relaxing environment.

We are looking for exceptional individuals with the right attitude, skills and knowledge who share our passion to deliver the best quality care experience. We have a fantastic opportunity for an Activities Coordinator; you will be responsible for planning and implementing the activities that are appropriate to the Service Users needs and requests.

The main responsibilities of the job include:

  • Help Service Users to socialize with the Care Centre and provide a variety of activities that cater for all tastes.

  • Plan and initiate monthly rolling/individual programs, and encourage Service Users to maintain pre¬≠existing hobbies.

  • Encourage Staff Members, Relatives and Friends to participate in the activities.

  • Help to create an atmosphere that suits individual Service Users within the Care Centre.

  • Assist with fund raising and budgeting for entertainments, materials and outings.

  • Have a Friendly, creative and confident personality.

  • Have good communication and organizational skills.

  • Have Satisfactory Policy Check and check against the PoVA list.

  • Need to be able to work on their own initiative and be a team player.

Previous experience is preferred for this role.

Qualification in remedial/occupation therapies
