Clinical Lead – Competitive Salary plus benefits including £1,000 joining bonus

Do you have extensive care leadership experience within care homes? Are you passionate about best practice and determined to drive continuous improvement to enhance residents’ quality of life?

Then you can enjoy real responsibility and the rewards to match with the UK’s largest independent provider of health and social care.

What you’ll do - Supporting and deputising for the Home Manager, you will provide inspiring leadership to nursing and care colleagues and oversee the delivery of high quality care. You will focus on residents with complex needs, so it’s vital that you can conform with the latest guidelines, take far-reaching decisions and maintain the highest levels of clinical governance, whilst regularly auditing practices and procedures.

Who you are - A qualified care professional, you will be able to demonstrate a strong record of leading teams delivering care for older people within a residential environment. Above all, you will be capable of building lasting relationships with colleagues, residents and their relatives and getting the most out of every member of our care team.

Who we are - With 120 homes and day clubs across the UK, we provide expert respite, residential, nursing, dementia and end-of-life care for older people. Our highly personal, patient-centred approach has seen us enjoy rapid growth, with three new homes planned for next year, so we can offer exceptional career opportunities to people who care as deeply as we do.

What we offer - As one of our Clinical Leads you can expect comprehensive training in topics such as dementia, tissue viability and infection control as well as management. You can also expect competitive pay per annum, £1,000 joining bonus*, access to a company paid web based system for your PIN revalidation, paid DBS check, child care vouchers, cycle to work scheme, thousands of online and in-store discounts and free uniform.

*The bonus is paid in two parts, 50% on successful completion of probation and a further 50% on completion of 12 months service. Other Care UK terms and conditions also apply.

At Beech Hurst, we provide specialist care together with a warm welcome in a lovely part of town. Located just outside Haywards Heath in West Sussex, Beech Hurst offers personalised nursing care. Our team has specialist expertise in supporting individuals who have Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia. We take a person-centred approach to care at Beech Hurst – we look beyond the condition by getting to know the individual and understanding every aspect of their life. We aim to go the extra mile to make sure each resident has enjoyable and fulfilling experiences every day.  We have two Activities Co-ordinators who take residents out to local garden centres and shops, and to nearby attractions such as Brighton Pier. They make sure everyone gets the most out of their day. Every member of our team is committed to continual learning and development, to make sure that we always provide the best possible care
