Leatherland Lodge is a 46 bed, purpose built home situated in Thurrock, Essex. This spacious home provides expert care for older people, including those living with dementia. We strive to create a homely environment at Leatherland Lodge, and we provide all the comforts of good food, good company and friendly staff, in a calm and restful atmosphere.

Activities Coordinator

Care home:  Leatherland Lodge    

Hours of work:  30 Hours per week (Monday-Friday 10:00-16:00)

Job Overview:   

Responsible for providing a varied programme of activities to stimulate and keep our residents engaged, you will work in close conjunction with care staff. The work is varied and challenging but very rewarding and you will be working in a friendly and supportive environment. Experience of a similar role is desirable, but we will provide you with comprehensive training and support. You just need to be creative, outgoing, caring and enthusiastic and have a passion for working with older people in a friendly environment.

Experience / Qualification:       

Experience in a similar role preferred.
