Jubilee Court is a purpose built 75 bed home situated in Hucknall, some seven miles north west of Nottingham. This spacious home provides expert care for older people, including those living with dementia. Unlike in its past when Rolls Royce used Hucknall for testing the first vertical take-off aircraft, then known as the flying bedstead, the bedsteads at Jubilee Court don’t fly, but rather give comfort to our residents.

Job Overview: 

A Registered General Nurse is required to join the team to help ensure the correct level of care and assistance is delivered to each service user enabling them to maintain their dignity and independence at all times and to ensure that all care practices within the home are maintained at the highest level at all times. 

You are required to carry out Catheter Care and general Nursing duties, changing dressings, administering medication and responsible for maintaining peg tubes.  To assist in the completion of service users documentation in line with the regulatory framework of the care standards act.  You will be responsible for ordering repeat prescriptions and administer and handle Service Users medication in line with the Companies policy and procedures, ensuring adherence to the national standards and pharmaceutical guidelines.

Successful applicants are required to provide an enhanced disclosure. Disclosure expense will be met by the applicant. The employer has claimed an exception under the Equality Act 2010.

All appointments are subject to safer recruitment requirements to ensure the safeguarding of adults. All positions will involve appropriate checks and clearances.

Experience / Qualification:     

Valid NMC PIN essential

Experience in a care home preferred
