Training & Development:

We use The Skills for Care training targets to ensure that our staff members fulfil the aims of Hatherleigh Nursing Home and meet the changing needs of the people living within their home.  We also have a Group Training Officer who is there to support you by delivering in-house training.

Experience & Qualifications:

In addition to your valid NMC registration as a nurse and the right to work in the UK, you will need to be:

  • RGN, RMN or dual trained
  • Up to date with all areas of clinical expertise
  • Able to show support and direction to other care staff
  • Able to administer medication competently
  • Able to complete and update care plans
  • Able to deal with varying levels of dementia
  • Passionate about providing quality nursing care to the elderly
  • Exceptional communication skills in order to support the people living with us, family members and other health professionals and care staff
  • Exceptional organisational skills
