We have an exciting new opportunity at The Hawthorns Northampton. As the Well-being and Lifestyle Co-ordinator, your role would involve the provision of a high-quality programme of activities and events, including the use of a range of well-being initiatives to encourage residents to maintain and develop their optimal potential for independent living and enjoy a happy, fulfilling life.

Reporting to the General Manager, your main responsibilities would include:

  • Maintaining a varied and balanced programme of activities and events to enhance resident well-being.
  • Maximising resident participation in the programme.
  • Developing positive connections with local community links and services.
  • Seeking opportunities to expand and improve the programme.
  • Promoting the programme to residents and the local community.
  • Meeting needs of specific individuals or resident groups.
  • Keeping the management team informed on a weekly basis.

Hawthorns Retirement provides a unique concept of luxury, apartment-style retirement communities set within a purpose built facilities. The Hawthorns first launched in the UK in 1985 in Clevedon, Somerset. This was followed by The Hawthorns in Eastbourne in 1999, The Hawthorns in Braintree, Essex in 2009. With all three award-winning UK retirement villages.In 2015, The Hawthorns, Aldridge located in the West Midlands was added, building upon the values and quality of service already established, but with the extended level of service to include care and support based upon resident needs. Registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC), greater peace of mind is now provided.We are now developing our fifth Hawthorns residence in Northampton, due to open in February 2018. Proof of eligibility to work in the UK is essential.

16 hours per week - shift patterns - various shifts which will include weekends

£9.30 per hour
