Welcome to Northbourne Court, one of our Care Homes located in Sidcup, Kent. We are currently seeking a Café Assistant who is able to ensure that all our residents, guests and staff are provided with a warm and inviting café bar experience.

JOB DESCRIPTION: Café Assistant
Job Title: Café Assistant
To support the effective and efficient running of the Café at Northbourne Court
Responsible to: Hotel Manager
To offer customers exceptional standards of customer service and care.
To have a friendly and engaging personality, treating all Northbourne Court’s residents and visitors with fairness and courtesy.
Comfortable working with residents of a care home, able to initiate conversations and provide a sincere welcome and enjoy providing good service.
To provide excellent customer service, serving customers promptly, courteously and with a smile.
To fully comply with all Health and Safety and Food Hygiene regulations at all times.
Ensuring that food and drink served to customers is of a consistently high standard and is well presented.
To develop knowledge of products and share that knowledge with residents and visitors in a confident manner.
To maintain a clean and tidy environment at all times in the café and preparation areas including washing up.
To assist in the set up, set down and cleaning of the café and kitchen according to procedure on a daily basis and as required. To be responsible for the cash handling processes within the café.
