Sutton Scotney, an easy commute from Andover or Winchester is seeking an Activities Co-ordinator to join our friendly team in this prestigious Nursing Home to lead the way creating suitable activities to inspire our residents. Some activities may include, films, music, exercise sessions, games, fundraising & themed events, quizzes, arts and crafts, trips and outings.

Activities Co-ordinator – Monday to Friday - 10am – 4pm – 30 hours per week.  We will consider 10am to 3pm for the right candidate.

To be successful within this rewarding role, you should be self-motivated, creative, organised and committed to enhancing the quality of life of our residents by providing a wide range of activities which will interest, inspire, motivate and support them in their daily lives. 

Experience of working with an elderly client group and/or working within a care home environment would be desirable, but your values and personal qualities are far more important to us – compassion, patience & positivity. We will provide full training and support. Ideally, you will be able to cover outings or special events outside your normal working hours. The ability to drive is desirable to enable you to accompany residents on trips and appointments, but we will consider non-drivers.

Hourly rate:- £9.40 per hour weekdays & £9.80 per hour at weekends.
