We are looking for a very motivated activities person to deliver a wide range of meaningful activities to our residents at our nursing home. Albeit the hours can be flexible the normal working hours would be 9:30 - 3:30 Monday to Friday. The successful applicant must show a creative initiative and have a good understanding of what this role should achieve. We have a minibus and driver on site so outings form part of this role.

We endeavour to create a good working relationship with all staff and make new additions to the team feel right at home from day one.

We work on very high levels of staff. More than anyone else we know of in the whole county. Our home has been nominated for awards in the care industry and we continue to improve and monitor our care approach and standards of care.

We have a full electronic care management system to make updating care plans and daily record keeping simple and easy to do Along with e-logging nurse call system this helps to safeguard staff against making errors and omissions. We offer online clocking in and holiday requests all via your mobile phone makes us stand out from all other care homes for ease of use and an error-free environment

 

Skills/Qualifications:

  • Although previous experience is not essential showing that you can deliver a quality meaningful programme of activities is essential
