We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Team Leader to join our dedicated team in Barnet supporting people with Autism, Mental Health Needs and Learning Disabilities to live independently

At accomplish we provide support to individuals with complex and challenging needs such as Learning Disabilities, ABI, Mental Health and Autism. We provide support that responds to each individual's needs, enabling them to live independently in their own homes or in our Supported Living accommodation. Our support workers enjoy promoting independence and participation in activities, encouraging inclusion for the people we support and helping to rebuild key skills. The role of a Team Leader is a managerial one. You will assist with the overall running of the home to enable the people we support to live happy, healthy and fulfilled lives in a way which maximises independence and choice.

As a Team Leader you will work with personalised support plans to ensure that all care and support provided is delivered in line with the wishes of the individual and in line with both organisational and regulatory standards, policies and procedures.

Responsibilities: Deputising as required for the Registered Manager. Alongside the Registered Manager, take responsibility for the smooth running of the home; supervising junior members of staff and acting as an example and mentor to other staff. Recording and reporting information to the Registered Manager, as required. Identifying training needs of staff within the home. Participating in weekly/monthly home management meetings and to actively contribute. Undertaking monthly supervision and annual appraisals 

Requirements: NVQ Level 3 qualification / or equivalent care qualification. At least 6 months experience in a managerial/supervisory care role. Good general education – GCSE & above. Experience in caring for people who have Mental Health needs and/or Learning Disabilities. Willingness to learn and develop. Good time management and organizational skills. Ability to listen, observe and communicate effectively. To be patient, have common sense & integrity. Ability to take on additional responsibilities and act as a mentor to other staff.
