What you’ll be doing
You will assist the chef to plate meals and prepare food trolleys, making sure all preparation areas are kept clean. You will keep a close eye on stock, complying with company policies and procedures and following all mandatory guidelines. You will also assist with catering for special events within the home.

Not far from the city centre of Leeds, Nesfield Lodge is a friendly and familiar home that is setting standards across the Orchard group. The home was awarded the first Orchard Care Centre for Culinary Excellence, has seen its staff recognised in internal awards and is one of the pioneering homes part of the HenPower hen-keeping programme.
What you’ll need
Level 2 Food Hygiene (or willing to undertake)
Good communication skills
Ability to work on own initiative
Experience of food preparation for the relevant Client group including Dysphagia
