At The Hamptons Care Centre, Lytham, St Annes we are seeking to appoint one part time Housekeeping and Laundry Assistant's to join our team. We are looking for a motivated Housekeeping and Laundry Assistant who will ensure that the standard of cleanliness and hygiene within the home, is maintained to the highest level and within the New Care specification. This is a 20 hours contract and shift times are 0800-1200 or 1200-1600 with alternate weekend working. This includes competitive hourly rate of £8.91. Experience is essential to apply for this role. You must have undertaken (evidence to be provided) or be willing to have a COVID19 vaccination, unless medically exempt.

Role Responsibilities:

·Tidying and cleaning residents’ rooms, furnishings and carpets
·To assist with laundry during busy periods such as holidays and sickness
·Tidying and cleaning communal areas
·Regularly cleaning and monitoring the cleanliness of the communal toilets/bathrooms
·Ensuring that all toilets/bathrooms and restaurant areas are kept well stocked with toilet rolls, liquid hand soap and paper hand towels
·Remove any trays or crockery left in rooms from previous meal times
·Following cleaning schedules as delegated by the Head Housekeeper
·To assist with other tasks necessary to facilitate the smooth running of the home as directed by the Line Manager.

Skills and experience required:

·Previous non-domestic cleaning and experience of working in a care setting would be beneficial
·Ability to operate cleaning equipment in the Home
·Ability to follow simple written and verbal instructions and write basic comments
·Communicate effectively with other team members
·Display reliability and trustworthiness
