Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the nursing team to ensure high standards of care.
- Administer medication and maintain accurate records in line with regulatory requirements.
- Oversee care planning and risk assessments tailored to residents’ individual needs.
- Support the Registered Manager in compliance with CQC standards.
- Mentor and develop junior staff, promoting best practices.
- Respond promptly to emergencies and safeguarding concerns.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals.
Requirements
- Valid NMC registration (essential).
- Previous experience in a senior nursing role within a care home or similar setting.
- Strong clinical knowledge and leadership skills.
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
- Compassionate and committed to delivering person-centred care.
